    Good to have you back. Nice build mine is the Piececool version as I was watching ,the instruction and parts were just about exactly the same.
    As for the reply about architecture models I would say any of the Asian Temples from Piececool will be pretty challenging.
    Keep up the builds

    Oh god. The Yamato. Hands down the hardest model I’ve built. And I did some of the Microworld Zoid models. Those are wild.
    But yeah, 78 tiny little guns on Yamato. I had to get her though to go with my Missouri.
    My Yamato has a very distinctive bit of damage from building. I accidentally snapped off part of the housing for one of the main guns and lost it. So there’s a big hole in one of the turrets. I feel like I also broke something on the superstructure.
    She was a pain.

    Was thinking to build something like this for the challenge, but I am not a big fan of military models or ships, more of an architecture guy. What do you think is the most challenging bigger architecture model?

      That's a great question, I agree with Jedicatmaster that the Temples from Piececool are great. They are comparable with the amount of parts and interesting detail. If you are looking for Metal Earth models only I would point you to the Iconx Notre Dame and Salt Lake City Temple. Both have some detail that will have you busy for hours :) I hope you enjoyed the build and thanks for the comment

    Good work. I'm building the Missouri now to prep for the Yamato. Curious as to why you wear gloves?

      Thanks, I really enjoy the bigger ship builds too, I need to grab another one.
      The main reason why I wear gloves is to make the video flow better. I film these over a few days and in that time any number of things can happen to my hands. So to make it look like one big sit down I wear gloves to hide the larceny of takes :)

    I know it's an old video. In your opinion.....which is harder the metal earth iconx ship builds or piececool ship builds

    What are the little bullet looking tool called?

    • @GrooveBuilders
      @GrooveBuilders  4 года назад

      Those are called Mandrills. Lots of different kinds out there. I recommend
      Beadsmith Budget 2 Piece Mandrel Set Wire Looping Tool 10 Different Diameters
      From Amazon. They have handles on them and lots of sizes to choose from.
      Hope this helps :)

    how long did it actually take you to build the whole thing

    • @GrooveBuilders
      @GrooveBuilders  4 года назад +1

      about 8.5 but at the most 10 hrs.
      if you have the right tools you can get it done in good time. Just don't rush it... once it's done it's done.
      thanks for watching!

    hey brah, I understand you were involved in a hit and run.. but, theres only pone O in the name Yamato, so its not pronounced Yamoto. Amazing build though.

      Haha I was making fun of the old World of Warships promos ;) Sometimes my jokes fall flat.
      Thanks for the compliment. I need to do another battleship!
