We have come a long way now, we're finally at 1,000 (except maybe the 150 or so I initially had before making Yakuza videos, lol) Yakuza fans! I thank EACH and EVERY person who subscribed to this channel, thanks to all of you, the dream of making Yakuza more known outside Japan will become true! So let's keep working on it and sharing the series with as many people as possible!

Could you imagine a Yakuza: Dead Souls Remake that has normal combat like 0 in on-infected zones and shooting combat from Max Payne 3 or RE4 in the infected zones?

How about this? normal combat like it is in 6 inside the non-infected zones but for more specific cases, while infected zones have the Max Payne-esque gunplay. Throw in some customizations and upgrades for the guns, and just some general upgrades, and you got a good TPS
Maybe tweak the shooting mechanics? They made Binary Domain, SO THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE!

Kiwami's will probably be the last install screen when it comes out due to it being on PS3 as well as PS4.

Xilivian4560 Nope, there is no installation screens on the PS4 versions since the installation is like seconds quick. But since Zero is on both, PS3 and PS4, they included Zero's installation screen in Reminisce mode on the PS4, and it's a clear screen with no install bar or anything, for you to enjoy. Kiwami will be the last game that'll be on the PS3 and PS4, 6 will be a PS4 exclusive.
But who knows, they may include a badass scene in 6's Reminisce mode.
devilleon7 Well that's friggin' lame. I saw a friend install a new PS4 game, and it took hours to finish. What's up with that?
Xilivian4560 Maybe it was downloading? Because installing really doesn't take long on the PS4.

Yakuza 4 was my introduction to this series, and then I went and bought 1 to 3 and played them in that order before finishing 4 xD

+Xarscum for me it 4 or 5 I haven't finished 2 because my disc was scratched so I could not play anymore after chapter 9 chapter 10 did not work and scratches ware so deep it was dead
Majima's description in the Dead Souls one is great. Aren't there only 3 other install screens besides these? Kenzan, 3 and Ishin?

devilleon7 Feels odd then to just leave Ishin out since it's the only other one left, but I guess it's your call.
***** I did go and take a look at it in case I was misremembering it being boring, and it was. That's just my opinion though.
devilleon7 It is not as good as the others, but to leave out the only other game with an install screen is weird to me. Would've made it a nice typical "top 5" list. But it's not me making the list so whatevs.

Great video, I had a feeling Zero would be No.1, my favorite install screen is Zero as well. I just love the atmosphere, the disco lighting, the attention to detail and the wonderful music in the background. Imo it is the best install screen in the Yakuza series and I wonder if Kiwami's install screen will be as good as Zero. Since Yakuza 6 is a PS4 exclusive sadly it wont have an install screen :(
+AzureDragon97 Yes! The atmosphere, the lightning, the details and the music were just MADE to be there together! I don't know if i'm the only one who thinks so, but I think Zero's installation screen has a smell of darkness to it. You can sorta feel that the game will be badass/epic yet dark in some ways, and lo and behold, it IS that way.
+devilleon7 Totally agree, Zero's story is alot darker than previous games. You could feel the darkness in the atmosphere they created in Zero. That's why Zero had the best install screen, it actually had an atmosphere of its own, all the other install screens were quite basic. I wonder of Kiwamis install screen will live up to zero.
AzureDragon97 We'll just have to wait for Kiwami to come out! Not much left when you think about it, we're about 2 months away from it.

Dead Souls reminds me of the Killer Instinct theme.
As for ideas, you could always try other games.
For example, I DID pay $60 to buy you a copy of Bloodborne, and it IS getting a massive expansion soon...
You could do lore analysis and gameplay tips. Easter Eggs too, maybe.
Also, Yakuza 5 is coming out in a week or so. You could, and probably will, tear that game apart.

No, it's a spin-off game that has no relation to the main story.

Yeah, probably not, since 6 will be a PS4 exclusive, unless they add it under the Reminisce menu for people to be able to watch it after they beat the game.
