When I gave birth to our first child, I had to have a C section. My husband walked around bragging that he watched the whole thing. Said it was just like gutting a deer. What he fails to mention is the fact that the nurse who was in charge of the O.R. had to give him smelling salts and a Lifesaver candy!!!😂🤔🤪🥴🤣😆

My dad is 90… drives across a couple of states to go visit his 97 year old brother in law who still lives in his own house. They go walking and apple picking and go out to eat. They’re both able to take care of themselves and no meds 😊

As a person who born and raised in the south (4th generation) it is so refreshing to have a comedian who many of us can relate to.
I love Leanne so much. She is the only person who made me laugh and feel understood with this empty nest syndrome. When she said "I took to the bed" and those children left me with their daddy 😄 she's brilliant, hilarious, totally relatable and so very likable💖
When I grow up one day I want to be an empty nester. I was halfway there with my first two when I up and got me an old lady pregnancy. Then I got another one 😂 I have 11 more years to go until I’m living my dream!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂

@@beebumble9664 I assure you, I enjoy them thoroughly. My eldest is off living HER dreams and I couldn’t be more thrilled for her. We are right now choosing the university that would best fit my second. But I am also looking forward to the next stage of life FOR ME. I was a fully formed human before they came along and I’ll still be one after the last one leaves. I’m not going to spend even a moment worrying about how much I’ll miss my kids while they are off enjoying themselves. My life is about a whole lot more than the presence of my kids in my home. I’m excited for a new career and additions to our family through marriage and babies and seeing the amazing things my kids do with the life my husband and I gave them ❤️

The best way I can describe Leanne is that she is just explaining a bunch of stuff that happened, and just happens to be hilarious at it. It's like a conversation with a friend. Whereas other comedians, even the great ones, have more of a rehearsed-sounding routine; or maybe you could say that they are trying to be funny and come across as not completely natural, but doing it well of course. But Leanne doesn't seem like she is even trying. It just happens. She might be the greatest comedian that has ever existed. Awesomeness and then some.
Exactly! I was just saying this to my hubby that Leanne is just herself up on stage and she doesn’t have to try to be funny because she just is! And her material is so relatable. 👍
She reminds me SO much of my aunt from Missouri who works at a salon and makes us cry laughing with her stories.

I have 3 kids (daughters) and she's absolutely correct. The first 2 kids I was on top of everything. The 3rd child was 3 mths premature. She weighed 1 lb 12 Oz at one time! She came home on a monitor that the belt with electrodes around her chest would lose connection and the alarm would go screaming night and day. She could only drink 2oz. Of formula every 2hrs and it would take her an hour to consume that. Needless to say I was a walking zombie. I don't think I rested until she graduated school, married and moved out!!! We were so lucky none of them got into any trouble, pregnant or on drugs or liquor! GOD truly had his protection on our family!!! And we are so grateful!

I am a southern Methodist...I went north to college and never went home except for 7 years in the 80s to work at a college there. I got a doctrate in clinical psychology, became a professor, but as a child I went barefoot in the summer, swam in the river, climbed live oak trees with the boys,,learned to shoot a rifle in my early teens,,and went fishing.
I am a sophisticated woman now. I have traveled the world, sailed the Caribbean in our 45 ft yacht, my daughter flies planes , speaks French and went to Harvard Kennedy School of International relations for her Masters degree. In my heart I miss the swimming hole a deep spot in the Brazos River in rural Texas. People used to sit on the porch after Sunday dinner and talk,,often they would play music...themselves and sing or tell stories about their childhoods. We didnt get decent TV reception so we listened to the radio shows.....I miss it and them...her accent (my grandmother was from GEORGIA) everything she says makes me roar but it breaks my heart too, for all my people are gone now and I just wish I could thank them for gounding me to this earth and giving me a heart and decency. I would have been a hellion without them. As it was they prepared me for LIFE and taught me what it is was to live, REALLY live...my family, my people , my country.
I live abroad now. I have servants and dont have to lift a finger but once upon a time long ago I picked cotton, milked a cow, fetched water from a well on the porch, put up vegetables, made dill pickles, and sucked on honeysuckle nectar...life was simple .....and it was sweet.
Lost that when both grandparents passed, Clyde, Texas. Live in Brazos Cnty. TX.

@@tammycanatella7899 Tammy I know what you mean....grandparents were EVERYTHING I have always felt though they were on my shoulder looking out for me...as a clinical psychologist the academic explanation is I internalized them their values, their goodness into my personality. Life hasnt been perfect since then...when they were with me. I have had my traumas.....lost two husbands to death the last 2 years ago after 41 beautiful years together. Life has heaped both happiness and sorrow upon my head by the shovelful. But I still have those values they taught me and I felt they walked with me every step of the way my grandparents...and that they made sure that life NEVER dumped onto my head more than I could dig up out of. They made me Texas tough...so far I have survived it all.. but Im soft as a newborn calf on the INSIDE ....and just a little wobbly when I walk at 76 like they were.

I’m a New Englander and couldn’t really understand Leanne’s dialect at first. Two years later? I listen to NOBODY ELSE. She’s a breath of fresh air in this otherwise sometimes not so funny world. I'm in Scotland and I'm fine with her accent. I'm going to learn it to amuse my grandchildren. They love accents. Their other grandparents are Carribean with visitors from South Africa, Australia, all over. Tennesse is what we need. And the jokes, of course, those are international. You described my relationship to my 4th boy to a tee! I had 3 boys rapidfire from age 20-23. They're in HS and college. I'm now widowed and my 4th is a tiny 4yo adult who calls me by my name which is fine to me, I have bigger fish to fry!
My 2 older boys were 12 and 10 when I had my third. They pretty much raised him because I was working and tired all the time. My oldest was in high school and driving and would pick up his baby brother from school and take him to McDonald’s and eat and play. I got home from work around 6-7pm. And my youngest called me and my husband by our first names. Lol

Angus has a huge house just around the corner of mine.
(Of course) he’s not here all too often, but since this home (mansion!) is build in the village where his long term girlfriend was born and her family still lives too, so they’re still here a lot of time.
One of the great things of living in our town is, that even when you’re someone like Angus Young, you can walk around peacefully through town and even if you’re a world famous rockstar with millions of fans worldwide, you can still simply enjoy a nice beer in one of the bars, without being harassed, because you’re treated just the same as any other local.
Sometimes there are tourists / fans hanging around the mansion, taking pictures or whatever (the house is SO massive even though it’s build in a normal street, so you can’t miss it), but that’s about all.
(The house has a huge studio underneath it and my ex brother-in-low (a carpenter) has done quite a bit of work in his house and he told me, that there are lots and lots of golden items (like light switches and water taps) all over the place!)
Well, I’m glad there’s something ‘international rock starry’ in it!! 😂😂
But I certainly understand why he likes to be at this home, just being able to do his thing uninterrupted, seeing the insane situations that some celebrities (and he himself too elsewhere) have to deal with on a daily basis !!
