Rosé is a native English speaker so she's more comfortable singing in English but about what you said bp makes great music they all about women empowerment and overall all good vibes but they do have their own share of more "meaningful songs" like stay, hope not, you never know hopefully you get to react to all of their songs and understand the kind of message they want to send.
I agree with you 100%. I absolutely love Blackpink's anthems, but Rose's solos and covers offer an emotional depth that I appreciate. Her voice is perfection.
Yes, Rosé is the most passionate about music in Blackpink, she has played guitar and piano since she was a child and has that ability to convey emotions when singing. Definitely the type of music that Rosé listens to is totally different from what she does with Blackpink and you can tell that in the different covers that she has done. In the Blackpink documentary on netflix you can see all the respect she feels for music.
Their company YG is all about swag, badass so they always put that thing in their all artist title tracks but some of their bsides are deep and emotional 😭❤️❤️
I love her solo SOOO much. Like you said, I need some depth too and this song is just everything! I also really like Lovesick girls, You never know, stay and Pretty savage. Honestly I wish YG let them participate more in their music because I think It's really important than an artist can express their own emotions and thoughts just like Rosé did! Idk, that just hits different (I'm not saying I don't like the other songs because I truly love them but you know what I mean) 💕 I Can't wait for their comeback. Today Somi accidentally did an spoiler in her IG live (We think it's a BP song because it sounded like it was Jennie singing) and for the seconds I heard, it sounds like a BOP. 😌
Agreed it does sound like bob... Also Jennie did confirmed yesterday that they are working on their comeback (on weverse) so possibility of that song being blackpink's comeback song is like over 90% 🖤💗
Yes, Rose is very grounded and a very humble person. Her solo’s are deep. BLackpink songs that have the same vibes as these are: You Never Know, Hope Not and Stay. Lovesick Girls, playing with fire have deep meanings too. Hope you can react to this side of BP.
Yes she wrote these songs On the ground is about her she isn’t talking about relationship but Gone is and she said she wrote it 2 years before releasing it and it about someone and she was going to send it to him😭😔
Yep this is Rosé, she has a lot of covers and song recommendation that focuses more on the meaning of the song and I love her for that. 💓 The more you watch her, the more you realizes how deep of a person she is. Such a sweetheart. Btw I hope you can react to their netflix docu 😊
Rosé said that she didn't want her debut to have the sound of BLACKPINK, because that's not her color. We easily realize when we see the repertoire of covers that she has done, the type of music of hers is pop 2000s, punk, rock, etc. Also, she wants to tell stories through her songs. Rosé has writing credits on both songs. Btw, in On The Ground when she talks about "you and I" she refers to Rosé and Roseanne, her self from her past, the one who wasn't famous and had more time to surround herself with music. Rosé is a very sensitive girl, you see. Anyway, The Album brought the gem of You Never Know, you should check it out to get a new perspective of BLACKPINK^^
You're going to get the substance the more you look. The bangers generate the hype and views, so if you react by viewcount, that's all you're going to get. But we all have a soft spot in our hearts for the more meaningful songs. The earliest one is "Stay." They close out their concerts with it and its kind of "our" song (meaning blackpink + blinks). Lots of meaning due to how infrequently blackpink has releases and its kind of been our promise to eachother to stay with each other. "Hope Not" and "You Never Know" are the other two ballad-y songs. They have other songs with more meaning but still upbeat as well. "Don't Know What to Do," "Really" "Love to Hate Me" etc. are all meaningful as well. I'm with you on principle, though. I wish there would be more promotion of these kinds of songs but the target audience is what it is and currently girl crush bangers dominate that market, lead by blackpink. The rest of us can enjoy the b-sides. Oh, and congrats for catching it. Few do. That was a window with a bullet hole covered up by a bandage with 'love' written on it. Yep. Trying to fill the hole in her heart with either new love or the memories of what she had instead of what she's discovering the lyrics about moving on and enriching herself.
💎 *ON THE GROUND* & *GONE* are the two songs that are part of the album called [R] by ROSÉ, the album was released in March 2021 and is ROSÉ's first official record work as a solo artist, it is also the group's purest album since that both songs were written and composed by herself, something that no member of the group had done before, ROSÉ's [R] album is officially the best-selling K-pop female solo album in all of K-pop history, only in CHINA has sold more than 10 million copies (including physical and digital albums), and globally the album was *#1 on the BILLBOARD 200* (global album sales) which measures global sales, and on charts the song ON THE GROUND was *#1 on the BILLBOARD 200* (global chart), and reached 41.6 million views in 24 hours on the day of its premiere on youtube, the best of all is that with *31 MUSIC AWARDS* (so far) the ROSÉ album is the musical work of BLACKPINK with the most awards won so far. In addition, the 2 music videos of ROSÉ are so full of symbolism, references and easter eggs that we would never finish.
"Stay" is the MV you wanna watch. And Rose's Sea of Hope performances (mostly covers). Title tracks are often flashy, big and loud hype songs (exception: Stay). B-side tracks can be more nuanced and quiter. Sadly no MVs for these. But Blackpink also has some deeper lyrics in title tracks like "Kill This Love" or "Lovesick Girls".
The good thing in Blackpink is that each girl have her own personality and them together make Blackpink as it is! And them as solo artist they can sing the kind of songs that they are more into too. That is so dope!
i think “stay” is the slower meaningful song that your looking for and it has a music video but other than that there’s “hope not” and “you never know” but those are bsides also i cant wait for your reaction to lisa’s dance videos :)
Rosé is a unique artist, her solo is my favorite among them all. She composed with her soul songs that humanize her and we can relate. I want more music from her soon. 😭
this is actually a song i actually listen too when life gets too fast or too happy or even too sad for me to handle. like On the Ground keeps me grounded
Yeah! I’m sure you’ll love You Never Know, Hope Not and Stay. In these songs we can see a complete different side of them and I just LOVE IT! Rosé’s solos are my favorite. She wrote both of them so I think that’s what makes them more meaningful.
Good to see you again. I think Rose is the artist which has made me cry the most. Her voice has that tearful quality and, although I have heard her voice many times before, always gives me that shock when she sings that first few initial notes. She gave fans three covers for her birthday, published on her official you tube channel. She also sings "Wildfire" by Cautious Clay which can make you cry as well.
She's the one who brings the emotion to Blackpink's song. She's a storyteller and her music always has a story to tell. The song On The Ground is about fame and herself. She always wanted to be grounded. She still wanted to be Roseanne Park because being Rosé means losing Roseanne. Rosé is the famous star but Roseanne is the normal person where she has freedom unlike Rosé some things are limited especially her time with her family and friends. In the end, she realized she can be Rosé without leaving Roseanne behind. The love and support from her family and friends really matters the most for her, not the popularity she has right now. Although she's thankful about the way she achieved her dreams. Watch her first vid on her youtube channel "ROSÉ Official" and her interview at the Zach Sang Show she explained more in detail there.
Both of her solo songs are SPECTACULAR!!! You SHOULD cry. Both are heartfelt serenades of longing, loss and regret. You see how happy the girls are when they are together and how much happiness they spread around to the world. But there is an inannate loneliness of young girls dedicating their lives to performing, touring, making appearances,... following strict rules. What would seem like a normal life is passing them by?
I absolutely can understand what you say about substance. Probably that's why Rose's solo is my favorite one ever. It just hits different. Love your reactions ❤️. Can't wait for more content of blackpink or others girl group, the kpop is so big, you would be amazed, it's a wonderful journey
my rosé, she's my bias 💗 I love how emotional she is and I'm just like that, a sensitive person and she's always giving this kind of vibes and with her solos (especially on the ground) I just felt more in love with her personality 💗💗🤧
ROSÉ is not an idol, *ROSÉ IS AN ARTIST,* 🌹 the best thing is that year after year she strives to improve herself, she decided to learn to dance (because she didn't know how) and now she is an excellent dancer (lead dancer), she She proposed to be a great vocalist and now she is (main vocalist), she is considered the golden voice of Korea and her COVERS are the most viewed and successful in the entire history of kpop, she proposed to write and work on her own songs and despite hoarding from YG ENTERTAINMENT with her artists she managed with effort to have official credits in her own record works, she proposed to be a model and was the only member of BLACKPINK invited to the MET GALA 2021 in New York, in addition to being a super talented woman she is noble, strong, beautiful and intelligent, and even though she now has covid and is in quarantine, I know that this will make her stronger than she already is.
Another great reaction. I love that you share your real life with us, with your dishwasher, crazy dog, daughter, and whatever else comes along. You would probably love Rosie's performances from the show "Sea of Hope". It was a Korean reality show where a bunch of celebrities ran a seaside club, and Rosé was one of the guest stars. I particularly like her cover of "Lucky", which is performed as a duet with Onew from Shinee. However, any of her Sea of Hope performances are worthwhile. Cheers!
You should see her performance for on the ground, the choreography is amazing! Any performance really, I suggest the one on the jimmy Fallon show. She has a dance performance for OTG
Rosé has an Indie vibe, she was recently on a TV show called SEA OF HOPE where she performed on the beach for a small group of people: *THE ONLY EXCEPTION* by Paramore ruclips.net/video/2DUdg4dnse8/видео.html *READ MY MIND* by the Killers ruclips.net/video/_r92v-T4gSU/видео.html *TIME SPENT WALKING THROUGH MEMORIES* (turn on subtitles) ruclips.net/video/mrUU_L-pfRU/видео.html
For months I was trying to figure out why I love a song that I heard so much and I discovered that is because it has the same vibe that this song. Is the song Hate that by Key ft Taeyeon, a gorgeous song but so so so sad, just like gone
yeah i think that her type of music. u could find many cover song of her has a vibe like this. my fav song of her is IF IT IS YOU, i think u gonna love it too
Hi, Lexie ☺ 3:40 Mmmm maybe some people already said this (or not), but most of BP songs and videos have really depth meaning (including the bangers), just not in an obvious way (at first, when I just met them, was a little tricky to catch for me, too). Even if Rosé gave us the message frontly, still have some deeper lines and hiden meanings in this 2 songs and videos. I've being a Blink just for 2 years and still discovering really meaningful things in their music hehehehe 10:32 I looooove your dog hahahahahaha 13:05 And "Love" is written on it 😉 I really enjoy your reactions. You are so honest and cute. I can't wait for your reaction to "The Album"
For more substance, there are maybe 5 songs that aren't on The Album, but were B-sides on the EPs and mini-albums that I don't think you've heard yet that may cover that. Their main singles have been hits/bops/bangers, yes, but when releasing Ddu-du ddu-du and Kill This Love, they've had accompanying songs that are more emotional and have some more depth. No M/Vs but there are lyric videos and dance practices for em.
BTW Rosé is having a conversation with her past self... literally at one point. And the mirror "Rosé" > "Roseanne" Gone is my favorite out of the two... and yes that was a bullet hole covered by a band-aid. You wouldn't believe how many don't see and/or mention that. 👍
I just had to pause and say thank you so much for just being you Lex I love that you don't sugar coat it and that you're just real which is why a lot of us come back to watch your channel I definitely get where you're coming from with the depth and substance I mean they are four amazing women and they could sing and dance and do it all but it's definitely nice to see where they're coming from and what they're going through and how they're feeling you could have all the money and fame but at the end of the day you're still real and I love that she's humble and that she actually got to write these which is not a dig at black pink at all they all bring something to the table and their chemistry just solidifies it. I also love they all get to do solo things and still come back and be blackpink. So it's awesome to see something from her point of view and let's be real you know producers and song writers they don't sing and it's a trade-off I mean all artists don't write or produce if that's not there thing so I feel like it's a trade-off between them and there's nothing wrong with that. It's a collaborative effort. So I definitely get what you're feeling I think a lot of us fans do. It's also funny how blackpink may be a group that a record company collected data and really did their research on what fans think that we want because to show you that all the data and numbers are pretty much meaningless but blackpink actually nails it on almost everything you can't cook up the chemistry and bond that these four women have. And to see them do solos and come back is just awesome because it's usually a death sentence for a lot of groups out there and they need to take a page from blackpink and it's nothing wrong with doing your own solo stuff and then coming back as a whole. And being part of a fandom is just so cool I try not to be one of those conspiracy you kind of you know people and say that not everything is planned but it is a little weird that each one of their solos the first letter of the song starts with a letter to spell SOLO with the exception of Jisoo of course so I'm really excited to see if it's just a coincidence or if that's really whats is going on here. Jennie. S olo Rose. O n the ground Lisa. L alisa Jisoo. ?
Fun facts, Roseanne Park is her full English name and Park Chaeyoung is her full Korean name. In On The Ground, whenever she said “you”, she was referring to her old self. This whole song is about her thinking about her past self and her current life after she achieved success. Check out BLACKPINK You Never Know. This song is one their deeper songs for the haters. There is no music video for this song, but there are color coded videos on RUclips that show the color coded English lyric and who did what parts of the song with audio soundtrack. 😎
Yes your right this is different for all blackpink songs like up beat but theyre songs are not just like that they also have different styles in music and for rosé this song really suit for her because her voice is really unique that YGE pick this kind of sound for rosé
Rosé isn't just kpop, she is a complete artist, she lives the music, she feels the music, she is capable of transmitting emotion, capable of writing such beautiful lyrics, composing music as well, she is at the top, climbed to the next level. I loved her solo so much and she made me so proud, simply Rosé is synonymous with talent.
THE COMMENT IS LONG BUT READ IT Fun fact - she wrote the lyrics And gone was recorded 3 yrs ago but wasn’t released and she again recorded that and that’s a bop !!! And the car that was burning in on the ground was real and was damn expensive Also , you should react to KICK IT , YOU NEVER KNOW ! They are more likely have good lyrics !! Also many BP have many songs with good lyrics Like how u like that is amazing as music and lyrics just you need to check English subtitles And rosè said she wanted to relate to a person’s real life Also this song Is about she thought she got everything but released the things that she needed was on the ground and materialistic things are not for long time !! First she was Roseanne and wanted to become successful Now when she is Rosè ( successful) she looks back and remembers like at end when she looks in mirror To know more about just check her interview of on the ground
I love your reaction, we have the same reaction and even though it's almost a year since her solo got released it still hits me hard everytime I listened to it. I definitely need more song from Rosé. With her debut song Rosé definitely created her on imagine that people will know about her not just BP Rosé but as Rosé soloist.
Jisoo doesn't have any solo's out, but you could react to her covers of Clarity and Yuki No Hana. With Yuki No Hana, the one to watch is from the Kyocera Dome. She sings it in Japanese to a Japanese crowd of over 55,000, and it's an amazing performance. I might suggest that you find the lyrics for Yuki No Hana before you react to it because they are beautiful and the song loses much of it's impact without them, and the video doesn't have subtitles. Great reactions.
Rosé thought that singing them in English was the best way to get her message across (at least I think that’s what she said) especially in On The Ground since that’s about her journey in life and that you can’t let fame get to your head and it’s also her saying she realized that everything she needs is in the ground for example just her family and stuff the scene where she’s playing the piano is her looking at her younger self and that the little girl her dreamed of making it in the business is still there inside of her the mirror is also important cause it’s like saying she may be rosé but she is still Roseanne too
Teddy Park is the producer and a major factor in the songs BP put out. The girls have a little say and how they sing it, but the songs are like 75% complete when pitched to them. Rose' enjoys singing on a regular basis, and someone said she has the best spotify playlist. She played at least 9 covers on a TV show, "Sea Of Hope". Search RUclips, and you will not be disappointed, covers of Paramore, Jason Marz, Alicia Keys to name a few. and 4 more on her youtube page. "Roses are rosie"
in "on the ground" visual meaning of this music video is that it started in a poor place with a hole in the wall at the beginning, worked really hard to achieve positional success that everyone would envy, but in the end, what I need is on the ground. A satellite falls into the limousine and explodes. If you look closely, the license plate is "Rosé". In other words, even a successful limousine can disappear in an instant. Upstairs, Rosé, wearing a white tee, throws flowers at the successful present Rosé. Similarly, playing with piano Rosé only likes the music of the past, and the Rosé standing up and looking at it is the successful Rosé of the present. Roses flying in the sky over every rose garden mean that they want to heal the whole world with her music.
Yeaaahh im excited for your lilifilms reaction. Oh and dont forget the iconic "the movie" 🤟 and also,, im excited for "the album" reaction! I bet youll gonna cry on "you never know" cause i did! 😅👌🏼
i'm so happy that you reacted to rosie's solos, because she really put her heart and soul into it, and i agree with your thoughts about her style, and about blackpink's music. but even though they are really talented and capable of being part of the whole process of creating their songs, fact that all four of them have proven, yg never lets them show their talent, and it's unfair but we all hope it's starting to change. however, aside from gone and otg, you have to listen to stay (it has an mv), hope not (kill this love bside) and you never know(the album bside) and you'll find more of that depth and substance that you want from them thanks for your great reactions!♡
If you want to see them on a song with more substance you will def love "Stay" it has an MV and Jennie often cries everytime she sings this. Also "You Never Know" and "Hope Not" all of them are ballads.
SOLO has a depth on it especially on the bridge part, it's just that the beat of it took all the attention for most listeners. BUT YEAHH, ROSE's different, it's her style it's her color, even her choices for her song covers as well. React to BLACKPINK's STAY (Jennie always cry in their concert encores while performing this song), HOPE NOT, and YOU NEVER KNOW (part of The Album) if you really want a deep song from them. :)
This is Rose vibe. You can find out more about Rosé style of music thru her covers. The most recent one was on her birthday and the Korean TV show Sea of hope. You can start with: slow dancing in the burning room, the only exception, viva la vida, wild fire & more. You’ll be blown away with all of her cover songs.
Rosè just love simple and acoustic things She is a vocal queen And yes that’s her type in songs That’s why she is kinda underrrated becoz people prefer more hype songs ( sometimes me ) But these solo’s are my love And gone still gives me those goosebumps
Also since BLACKPINK gonna make a major comeback around May and the whole promotion's schedule will spend at least few months after its first release, so Jisoo's upcoming solo would comes out a bit longer wether it'll be near the end of 2022 or in the early 2023... Therefore in the meantime, i'll put you with a few of iconic live performances where we could really see Jisoo's stage persona at its finest, which i'm gonna start with these 2: - CLARITY : ruclips.net/video/OIEar_-uQdY/видео.html - YUKI NO HANA : ruclips.net/video/fjKRglnBr7A/видео.html That's it for now....enjoy & have a good day buddy...
Rosé is like the Taylor Swift of Blackpink. She conveys her emotion and tells a story of her own thru her songs. She respect and loves music so much thats why she has depth on her writings.
Yeah, you really need to get in to the THE ALBUM, especially those last 2 tracks of it! XD And as what most have suggested Stay and Hope Not also. - Really looking forward to these contents. But am also very MUCH EXCITED with LISA DANCING VIDS! I do understand what you mean by these kind of songs, I have always been a sucker of these kind of songs before, the slow and has that substance into it. But after coming across Kpop and discovering BLACKIPINK, i think part of me being much much confident than I was before was because of Blackpink, really. Their feel-good/ women empowerment songs have really helped me be confident. And BLACKPINK having that slow songs too is really definitely a plus! Especially, with them having more of it in THE ALBUM. I keep repeating it but THE ALBUM for me is the most Personal BLACKPINK has put out. I feel like we were able to see their vulnerability within that album, along with their Netflix Documentary.
Im not sure if you are still taking anymore K pop group suggestions but I suggest checking out Treasure. They're a boy group in the same company as Blackpink and they released an amazing new song a few weeks ago called Jikjin. They are a relatively new group (only debuted about 1 year ago I think, I followed them before their debut and i feel kinda ashamed Idk their debut date) so they dont have that many songs released. My favorite songs from them are I Love You, My Treasure, Beautiful, and Jikjin but your taste in music might be different than mine. Thats all thank you for your amazing content. Keep up the great work! :)
BLACKPINK concepts are deep too!! They’re all about women empowerment and strength but many people miss that. Also, in their last album they mentioned how female idols and them specifically always receive hate and criticism more than male idols unfortunately.
the fact that she's the one who wrote her solo songs And On The Ground is not just a song, it's all about her from being Roseanne to Rosé. Everything she needs is 'on the ground' which is Herself /*correct me if I'm wrong, to all blinks who knows the meaning of OTG🤗
Well obviously their "bangers" are mostly their title tracks(songs with MVs). coz these songs will do well on charts(especially in korea people dont wanna listen to depressing stuff all the time). they have alot of deeper songs. but these are mostly B-Sides. Beside Lovesick girls are songs like: Stay You never know Hope not Love to hate me
If you want reality you should watch the Blackpink house… it is like a reality show of the girls. Also, like you already said, in the album are some deeper songs. Some others like STAY are also great. On a concert Jennie even started crying. So they have really all you need :) Thanks for the content btw, it’s really fun to watch you finding out who Blackpink is
Blackpink's depth : last song on The Album, also possibly my favourite track from them. "Stay" as well Also, Jisoo's music taste or preference from what we can see on her spotify list is completely left field , predominantly british indie/rock even. Who would've thought...
Yes, they are allowed to do their own music and styles on their solos. Rose is the most talented as she worked really hard writing her own music. We are looking forward to Jisoo too. You should catch Rose's covers from Sea of Love, and recent birthday covers she gave us on her birthday.
One thing i forgot to add, not sure if other's have commented on this. Rose's solo were released after their comeback with the title track Lovesick Girls, and the bathtub is actually from that particular M/V - so u can say OTG is a continuation of Lovesick Girls by Blackpink
I just havent heard those types of songs yet!! Which is why I was saying that I was wanting that. I am excited to discover that side of Blackpink!😍
@@LexListens Yeah You Never Know is a really good song and has some of the deep meaning that you are trying to find. Its one of my favorites :)
Add love to hate me to the list.... Actually add all of their b sides to the list
@@joannah4587 same here 💜
Stay and You Never Know. They're my favourites.
What makes it more beautiful and emotional is that she wrote them
if you liked that type of music from rosé, you should listen to her covers on her youtube channel!! she has really good taste
I agree with you 100%. I absolutely love Blackpink's anthems, but Rose's solos and covers offer an emotional depth that I appreciate. Her voice is perfection.

yesss please reaction these songss
Yes she wrote these songs On the ground is about her she isn’t talking about relationship but Gone is and she said she wrote it 2 years before releasing it and it about someone and she was going to send it to him😭😔
This solo is my fav solo of black pink
She is my bias wrecker @_@ proud of her

i think “stay” is the slower meaningful song that your looking for and it has a music video but other than that there’s “hope not” and “you never know” but those are bsides also i cant wait for your reaction to lisa’s dance videos :)
Yes 💜
She's a good story teller in music
I suggest you watch BP's documentary Light Up The Sky and watch Rosé's covers on her channel.
She performers Gone live on The Sea of Hope and she broke my heart it was so beautiful her voice is like a warm hug.
and the fact that she wrote them... OMG I'M CRYING
I absolutely can understand what you say about substance. Probably that's why Rose's solo is my favorite one ever. It just hits different. Love your reactions ❤️. Can't wait for more content of blackpink or others girl group, the kpop is so big, you would be amazed, it's a wonderful journey
Her artistry and love for music is just 🤌🏻✨
my rosé, she's my bias 💗 I love how emotional she is and I'm just like that, a sensitive person and she's always giving this kind of vibes and with her solos (especially on the ground) I just felt more in love with her personality 💗💗🤧
Cheers!
Yes, She play guitar. She did palyed guitar and sing when she auditioned for YG's new recruit
Rosé’s solos are my favorite! Gone is actually my favorite song from all solos 🤍
You should see her performance for on the ground, the choreography is amazing! Any performance really, I suggest the one on the jimmy Fallon show. She has a dance performance for OTG
Rosé has an Indie vibe, she was recently on a TV show called SEA OF HOPE where she performed on the beach for a small group of people:
*THE ONLY EXCEPTION* by Paramore ruclips.net/video/2DUdg4dnse8/видео.html
*READ MY MIND* by the Killers ruclips.net/video/_r92v-T4gSU/видео.html
*TIME SPENT WALKING THROUGH MEMORIES* (turn on subtitles) ruclips.net/video/mrUU_L-pfRU/видео.html
For months I was trying to figure out why I love a song that I heard so much and I discovered that is because it has the same vibe that this song. Is the song Hate that by Key ft Taeyeon, a gorgeous song but so so so sad, just like gone
You'll get a lot of meaningful songs from "The Album". Also "Stay", "hope not" are also in the catagory of "meaningful songs"🖤💗
yeah i think that her type of music. u could find many cover song of her has a vibe like this. my fav song of her is IF IT IS YOU, i think u gonna love it too
Sincerely thank you for your sincerely reaction 🙏🙏 pray for rosé speedy recovery
Hi, Lexie ☺
3:40 Mmmm maybe some people already said this (or not), but most of BP songs and videos have really depth meaning (including the bangers), just not in an obvious way (at first, when I just met them, was a little tricky to catch for me, too). Even if Rosé gave us the message frontly, still have some deeper lines and hiden meanings in this 2 songs and videos. I've being a Blink just for 2 years and still discovering really meaningful things in their music hehehehe
10:32 I looooove your dog hahahahahaha
13:05 And "Love" is written on it 😉
I really enjoy your reactions.
And the mirror "Rosé" > "Roseanne"
Gone is my favorite out of the two... and yes that was a bullet hole covered by a band-aid.
Jennie. S olo
Rose. O n the ground
Lisa. L alisa
Jisoo. ?
I love your reaction, Rosé's music is so good, i really love her ♡
This reaction is everything 🥲
Fun facts, Roseanne Park is her full English name and Park Chaeyoung is her full Korean name. In On The Ground, whenever she said “you”, she was referring to her old self. This whole song is about her thinking about her past self and her current life after she achieved success. Check out BLACKPINK You Never Know. This song is one their deeper songs for the haters. There is no music video for this song, but there are color coded videos on RUclips that show the color coded English lyric and who did what parts of the song with audio soundtrack. 😎
Stay, You Never Know, and some lyrics from Pretty Savage are their realities (esp You Never Know, it's in The Album)
You feel the emotions of this song💝 you are a true fan. Love your reactions 🤗🤗
THE COMMENT IS LONG BUT READ IT
Fun fact - she wrote the lyrics
And gone was recorded 3 yrs ago but wasn’t released and she again recorded that and that’s a bop !!!
And the car that was burning in on the ground was real and was damn expensive
Also , you should react to KICK IT , YOU NEVER KNOW ! They are more likely have good lyrics !! Also many BP have many songs with good lyrics
Like how u like that is amazing as music and lyrics just you need to check English subtitles
And rosè said she wanted to relate to a person’s real life
Also this song Is about she thought she got everything but released the things that she needed was on the ground and materialistic things are not for long time !!
First she was Roseanne and wanted to become successful
Now when she is Rosè ( successful) she looks back and remembers like at end when she looks in mirror
To know more about just check her interview of on the ground
I love your reaction, we have the same reaction and even though it's almost a year since her solo got released it still hits me hard everytime I listened to it. I definitely need more song from Rosé. With her debut song Rosé definitely created her on imagine that people will know about her not just BP Rosé but as Rosé soloist.
Story telling songs are always good ❤️
Thanks so much for the reaction. You wanted depth, and that's exactly what Rosé delivers.
Vulnerability can be powerful.
Rosé thought that singing them in English was the best way to get her message across (at least I think that’s what she said) especially in On The Ground since that’s about her journey in life and that you can’t let fame get to your head and it’s also her saying she realized that everything she needs is in the ground for example just her family and stuff the scene where she’s playing the piano is her looking at her younger self and that the little girl her dreamed of making it in the business is still there inside of her the mirror is also important cause it’s like saying she may be rosé but she is still Roseanne too
Rose' just love music she can feel music and make people feel her songs she is amazing react to her covers it's amazing more blackpink 💗💗
She has a good taste on music.
What make these solo songs from Rosé are more special is because she's taking part on writing them as well
Rosé's the queen of covers. Try her recent birthday cover of viva la vida, don't look back in anger, december and those from the sea of hope tv show.
"I need more solos from her" Giiirl, we really need
Our main vocalist, Rośe🤩
Yeah, Rosé... our diva🥀 from down under. Great reaction. Thx.😎👍
in "on the ground" visual meaning of this music video is that it started in a poor place with a hole in the wall at the beginning, worked really hard to achieve positional success that everyone would envy, but in the end, what I need is on the ground.
Roses flying in the sky over every rose garden mean that they want to heal the whole world with her music.
she adds feelings in everything she do! absolutely my favorite kind of music, she’s so passionate about her work!
Yeaaahh im excited for your lilifilms reaction. Oh and dont forget the iconic "the movie" 🤟 and also,,
im excited for "the album" reaction! I bet youll gonna cry on "you never know" cause i did! 😅👌🏼
In otg when she hits that high note it's actually using another muscle of vocal soo.... Yaa she is amazing 😍
Yup, Rosé is truly one of a kind... she's a very talented musical artist and songwriter... not just an idol.
we all need more of Rosé´s songs
i'm so happy that you reacted to rosie's solos, because she really put her heart and soul into it, and i agree with your thoughts about her style, and about blackpink's music. but even though they are really talented and capable of being part of the whole process of creating their songs, fact that all four of them have proven, yg never lets them show their talent, and it's unfair but we all hope it's starting to change. however, aside from gone and otg, you have to listen to stay (it has an mv), hope not (kill this love bside) and you never know(the album bside) and you'll find more of that depth and substance that you want from them
thanks for your great reactions!♡
You’ll be blown away with all of her cover songs.
rose has such a beautiful soul
ROSÉ has her own vibe. I love how YG brings it on her solo not forcing her to follow the so hype and swag YG thing.
Girl, I'm Brazilian and I just love your reactions, you're so cute! ♥️
I’ve watched almost every single Rose reactions and I have to say yours is one of the best! You just get it. You have good taste :-).
Rosé's solos are my favorites.
Rosè just love simple and acoustic things
She is a vocal queen
And yes that’s her type in songs
That’s why she is kinda underrrated becoz people prefer more hype songs ( sometimes me )
But these solo’s are my love
And gone still gives me those goosebumps
Finally reacting tp my girl Roseeeeeeeee thank you. Yes Rose wrote the lyrics
Check out sea of hope where she sang this live. It’s incredible. She also did some covers as well
Also since BLACKPINK gonna make a major comeback around May and the whole promotion's schedule will spend at least few months after its first release, so Jisoo's upcoming solo would comes out a bit longer wether it'll be near the end of 2022 or in the early 2023...
Therefore in the meantime, i'll put you with a few of iconic live performances where we could really see Jisoo's stage persona at its finest, which i'm gonna start with these 2:
- CLARITY : ruclips.net/video/OIEar_-uQdY/видео.html
- YUKI NO HANA : ruclips.net/video/fjKRglnBr7A/видео.html
That's it for now....enjoy & have a good day buddy...
It's my first time listen to kpop song with full English...she's so cool
Rosé is like the Taylor Swift of Blackpink. She conveys her emotion and tells a story of her own thru her songs. She respect and loves music so much thats why she has depth on her writings.
Solo treats reality of relationships :)
Listen to the Album !
Gone is good. Love ur reaction.
Yeah, you really need to get in to the THE ALBUM, especially those last 2 tracks of it! XD
And as what most have suggested Stay and Hope Not also.
I feel like we were able to see their vulnerability within that album,
along with their Netflix Documentary.

Oh my gosh I’m here in the comments first! Hi I literally love your reactions 🥰🥰🥰
BLACKPINK concepts are deep too!! They’re all about women empowerment and strength but many people miss that. Also, in their last album they mentioned how female idols and them specifically always receive hate and criticism more than male idols unfortunately.
the fact that she's the one who wrote her solo songs
And On The Ground is not just a song, it's all about her from being Roseanne to Rosé. Everything she needs is 'on the ground' which is Herself
/*correct me if I'm wrong, to all blinks who knows the meaning of OTG🤗
Well obviously their "bangers" are mostly their title tracks(songs with MVs). coz these songs will do well on charts(especially in korea people dont wanna listen to depressing stuff all the time). they have alot of deeper songs. but these are mostly B-Sides.
Beside Lovesick girls are songs like:
Stay
You never know
Hope not
Love to hate me
If you want reality you should watch the Blackpink house… it is like a reality show of the girls. Also, like you already said, in the album are some deeper songs. Some others like STAY are also great. On a concert Jennie even started crying. So they have really all you need :)
Thanks for the content btw, it’s really fun to watch you finding out who Blackpink is
Blackpink's depth : last song on The Album, also possibly my favourite track from them. "Stay" as well
Also, Jisoo's music taste or preference from what we can see on her spotify list is completely left field , predominantly british indie/rock even.
Rosie tested positive for covid 19 a few days ago, lets pray for her for fast recovery!!
I saw on Instagram!!🥺 hopefully she recovers quickly!!💓
@@LexListens yea it was so sad because she was about to go to paris fashion week a few days ago :(
This is how talent works
