- Today, we have the privilege of hosting James Mwangi, the CEO of A-Plus Motors. Born and raised in Lodiani, Jericho County, Mwangi's journey is an inspiring one. During his school years, he found inspiration in the fashion of Congolese music composer and artist, Kanda BongoMan. This inspiration led him to start his second-hand clothing line, and even in his formative years (as a Form 2 student), he began to see significant profit margins.
There came a pivotal moment when Mwangi discussed his ambitions with his elder sister. He shared his intent to quit school in pursuit of making money. He did temporarily leave school and moved to Meru, where he began selling clothes. However, after just a month, he decided to return to his hometown.
Mwangi eventually resumed his education, completing his Form Four studies. By then, he had already set his sights on a business career. He returned to selling shirts and, in a remarkable feat, turned Ksh 1,000 into Ksh 90,000 within a fortnight. At the age of 19, he had purchased his first car.
His entrepreneurial spirit later led him to the car sales business, initially selling vehicles by the roadside on Park Road. Subsequently, he expanded his operations to Thika Road, where he diversified into various ventures, including a tyre center, insurance services, car tracking, and the sale of both new and second-generation vehicles. - Развлечения

Hi JK, can't agree more on the issue of honesty and integrity. I have always wanted to invest in Kenya but my experiences with dishonesty means it would be a stressful adventure. You nearly habe to live in Kenya to ensure things are going right...great discussion.
