I was planning to make a small program using Python and SQLite3. After watching this course, I am planning to go for Access. Thank you for the brilliant tutorial!
You are a living legend. I am now listening to all the tutorials on your channel. they are the best beyond doubt. The tutorials are easy to follow and practice. Thank you!!!
I was using and had to give up FileMaker Pro 5.5 when I upgraded my OS to WIN 10. I really enjoyed going back to classroom here. Very professional, precise and informative.
This is outstanding. One of the more excellent instructional videos I have seen on YT. As it says, this is intended for novice Access users and it does a fantastic job of getting the basics without any of the uncomfortable asides & turn offs that other RUclips instructional videos tend to employ. Another user mentioned voice/pitch, and the instructive voiceover is not distracting (as other vides sometime are). Absolutely on point with the pacing and flowing from one point to the next topic. Great Work Deb and team!
Fantastic training video. Congratulations to Debra. What I liked pretty much : clear prononciation, excellent pace and very well structured. Just one small remark : have you noticed the two icons at the bottom right of the presentation ? They're hiding what you do in that area.
I watched this entire video & have now moved on to Part 1 of your Access training & it is the same video, with someone else teaching the course and a small amount of additional information (which is needed to watch Part 2)? I understand it's the 2016 video but the script is almost verbatim. Maybe just add to this one that it is the same as the 2016, so if someone's planning on watching Part 1-Part 3 they could just skip this one. I really do appreciate the free training and the time and effort you took to create this, it is just very inconvenient to have wasted 2 1/2 hours of time (especially since I am learning this to create a database for a non-profit, for free).
I'm fifty minutes into the video and all we've done is learn to save,open/close, access the Help functon,, and stop the welcome screen from openingevery time I open a db. I recommend FF unless you've never used any Office products before. If you have ANY experience with Word or Excel, the first hour is going to drag on forever
Nice course. Voice and pronunciation excellent. Perhaps enlarge the screen, somewhat small on a tablet. Even as advanced user, started with Access 2 😁 myself, I picked up of renewed some new knowledge here and three Keep up the good work.
Your course is fantastic. I have come across a problem I hope you can fix it. When I added an E=Mail field, in the drop-down box I accidentally clicked on Google Chrome. How do I change this to an E-Mail Account?
Glad you think so, Christopher! We recently uploaded a longer video for the beginner and advanced course, 7 hours of Access 2019 training -> ruclips.net/video/jCG2MTH9Ftw/видео.html
Do you have a tutorial on how to connect different databases? I wan tto make a contact list, team list database and connect the team list of tasks to complete database.
It may have its drawbacks, but it has its advantage since we only need to backup a single file. Unless of course if we have linked external tables and data. :)
I wish this was made from a blank desktop database and not from a Contact template. Some of this info is very helpful but it's hard to follow along when someone is using a template to teach. For example: When starting from Blank Desktop Database, there are no forms, you have to create a form.
@@SimonSezIT IMHO, it's easier to start out with a Contact Template for newbie to comprehend the Basic Foundation. And I trust any bloke who follows the tutorial would have no problem creating his/her own DB from a Blank Template.

2:07:45 what about maximum price of trip must be greater or equal than minimum price of trip (not zero), is that possible to compare to an other field in the same record?
Extremely slow , too much time in useless stuff like explaining how to minimize, Maximize and close a window. This course seems to be focused for the elderly...
Sorry you feel that way. In case you haven't yet, you can select the specific topics you need to watch using the timestamps provided in the description box. Have a nice day!
Would disagree. Based on anecdotal evidence, I'd say the people I've taught remembered better with more repetition. Would argue for the first 90 mins to be spun out and slightly reworked as a general office training. I'm not saying it's bad (as imho it's quite good) and I know this is the basic acces training, but if a student needs these basics taught, acces shouldn't be the example used. If you are that new to office, you really should stick to word and excel.
@@SimonSezIT I don't mind investing hundreds of hours just to reach advanced level. And another hundreds to use the application like an expert, full of innovation and confidence.
@@SimonSezIT ignore this ignorant person. The tutorial is perfect, especially for beginners. I think what he wants is a more advanced tutorial and he's in the wrong place for that. Keep up the good work!
