Lawyer Magnus is iconic xD. Also I think Lydia clocked him really well, his reasoning that is, and you can tell even this early on (since we haven't seen too much of him). Anyway, oof on the Malec stuff o.o. But Magnus letting him keep the bow :'). He was always just keeping up appearances.
The bit of foreshadowing at the beginning about calling Jace brother 💀. I know you just say it but it was so funny xD. Buuut yeeahh, that reveal 😬. Certainly a crazy one, whether you initially believe it or not xd. And I agree, the cup fakeout is great! Nice show that they actually know what they're doing sometimes lol, especially since Clary can look a little oblivious (for good reason, since she doesn't know this world well yet).
