About Dude Dad:
Hi! I'm Taylor Calmus, a Colorado-based actor/comedian. I started Dude Dad© two weeks before my son Theo was born as a way to stay creative while learning to be a father. My wife Heidi and I now have 3 kids and over 300+ videos. My purpose for the channel is to entertain, enlighten and inspire.
In addition to Dude Dad©, I have been in numerous TV shows, commercials, and have regular appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I will also be hosting my own TV show called "Super Dad" on the new Magnolia Network / Discovery+. Heidi and the kids will also be a part of the show. I am originally from the rural community of Howard, South Dakota.

I tried replacing the battery in my 2012 Nissan Versa, and I needed an extender AND a special hexagonal screwdriver. I had a taillight go out, which I changed no problem on my 97 Neon, but you practically had to take the rear end apart on the Versa!
I had an Acura Legend that we replaced the fuel pump on ourselves, and it was in the tank. When it went out again, and I took it to a mechanic, they said it would take 2 weeks because they had to remove the fuel tank. I was all, "No you don't, I did it without removing the tank. You're just trying to milk me on labor."
Used to be you could buy those books at the auto parts store to look up how to fix everything yourself. Nowadays cars are stupid overly complicated.
My dad is probably the smartest and most successful man I know.
But put him in a room with his friends... I swear they share a single brain cell.

As funny as Taylor is playing drag, I just love Heidi playing the "man of the house." I know Taylor is the one who was in theater, and was trying to make it in the traditional acting scene, but Heidi really holds her own! He's a lucky guy to have such a cool wife. 🤘🏻❤️
