Exactly! Another things for footwork too is to keep your lead foot on the putside of your opponents. For right handed fighters try to not let your southpaw opponents lead foot go on the left of yours!

Also i forgot to add, i love jabbing with my right hand as do normal southpaws but i can't really do power punches with my left hand, it's so innacurate it's worse than a storm trooper, also the moment i try to do power punches with my left, it feels so awkward because i just lose my stance because i don't know the proper footwork when doing a power punch, it judt feels awkward, i just feel like I'm not trained or trsining enough with my left hand.
Or you can get your lead hand under theirs, bop their lead hand up high enough so they can't bring it back down in time, and throw either a body hook or a power jab.

Don’t do that mate tapping down leave you exposed for the uppercut
Well all the top fighters doing it must be getting uppercutted all over the show

Thank you.. I'm learning alot from you guys.. thanks!
Make sure you really really warm up that loop movement before trying it. That can easily cause an injury.
I was a pro
the way to beat a Orthodox fighter easily is to puppet him
a orthodox fighter is used to circling left
so as a south paw we draw him into going left , orthodox fighters love that
take about 3 steps left and then take a far step to the outside if his lead and throw a cross to the body always follow up with a lead corkscrew uppercut
I don't care if you are on the weirdest ducked angle , throw a lead vertical straight even right under his chin
the combo is Cross , lead uppercut / vertical straight
my punches are twisting towards my other hand
like a cat pawing
another great move
go right at a Orthodox fighters lead
walk right at it
when he goes to hit you
duck however much you need and then
bend and twist all your weight onto your right leg
like a lunge
all the o
while throwing a cross , lead vertical straight or uppercut
step out cross and hook- timing and speed are the variable between both stances. This was my lesson from a superb southpaw...
😊
I feel like if I do this and I'm not quick enough imma get slammed with a cross
Thanks guys have been waiting for southpaw. Hope there is more to come. 🙌🏼
