Yeah but she actually knew and she was the one who helped YanWan rank up and is one of the biggest attributes to why she remained favored and remembered by the emperor because she was eager to make her Ruyi's biggest competitor cuz she hated what happened to her mother. She's just surprised or taken back probably to how vile she actually is and because she probably cared at least for her brothers that she took them away. Still she feels ( should actually) feel very guilty because she helped Yanwan be too overpowered and even a lot of her siblings got dammed because of her but in the end she achieved her goals of making Ling Ruyi's biggest enemy
She was backing the wrong person.
She was blinded by her hatred for Ruyi and believed that Yanwan is her child's life saviour, so all the more she'll be biased.
Jingse knew Yanwan wanted to be empress, but there’s at limit to wat she was ok with when she heard about Wei and the brothel workers she agreed that Wei should die but when the eunuch mentioned this could lead to a reconciliation between Ruyi and the emperor she stepped in.. here Jingse knows her grandmother can’t stand Wei and the only person in the harem that likes Wei is the emperor.. but learning that she’s teaching her brothers that their first loyalty is to their mom and not emperor is a complete dealbreaker.. while Jingse hates Ruyi and pretty much everyone else she loves her dad so Wei really messed up
How many children did she have?
I like Aunt Yuhu; she's the royal detective/fixer/right-hand woman. They need to make a drama series based on such a character, but keep the character free from being a part of the Emperor's harem and/or lovers. Let her have a spouse from the imperial guards.

she underestimated Ying just because she has a higher rank than her, however Ying has a strong powerful backer compared to Ling. I think it’s not that he loved her, it’s more like he is easy manipulated by words. Anything having to do with his sons trying to take the throne from him can set him off.

@@rkh7360 Sadly he has said that about everyone in his life including his kids. We sadly saw how most of them trurned out. And he was fond of his daughter but it didn't stop him from making her marry, he chose not letting the empress dowager get more power over his daughter. I honestly don't think he loves anyone but himself.

The complaints that Jingsi voiced to her father were actually very serious. Ling were committing acts of treason. She was dabbling in court affairs, and encouraging defiance of father ( who is emperor) and son. This could lead to future discord in court.
