Gather some assets for older vets, draft a defensive stud with their top pick and maybe target a receiver like Zay Flowers in the early second round. Most importantly though, figure out if you truly wanna commit to Kyler Murray for the foreseeable future. We saw what Philly did, they extended Wentz, regretted it, drafted Hurts, traded Wentz and now they are back in the Super Bowl.
getting another WR sounds good, but I think we should go for a slightly bigger WR, i think the cardinals are good with rondale moore and hollywood, we need a more physical guy like Rome or Rashee
Kyler looks like he's genetically compromised, and good on the Arizona fans for embracing the disabled. Just keep that thing on your roster, keep throwing money at it, and keep it the hell away from the A's. We like our retards, no doubt. We had Canseco and Mcgwire, but those retards were all in. Unlike Murray.
As a Cardinals fan, you have to remember that we had Kliff Kinsbury as our head coach. A wining less coach in COLLEGE to a Head Coach in the NFL? Wtf. Steve Keim who had 2 playoff appearances in 10 years of his GM tenure. Absolutely terrible. You can say all you want about Kyler, but name one player that Kliff has actually fully developed that came out of the draft. You can’t. The one player is probably Kyler. Monti is the first GM that the Cardinals hired that was outside of the organization in 29 years. I have some hope, but it’ll be a bit
Don’t try to talk to people who don’t follow or watch the Cardinals. Kyler has become a punching bag for everyone when this franchise was bad wayyyy before Kyler was drafted
Nah. Most injuries in the NFL this year. They are 2 years away. The new GM and new Asst. GM both have great drafting records. It's a project but they'll become competitive.
thing is with the hollywood bown trade. They got Myjai Sanders back from that. And he is going to be a 10sack guy once he gets to play most of the snaps. His first step is elite.
A lot of reasons why this team makes me wanna call suicide hotlines. Love the team but it just goes to show that we are nothing but a sad franchise team. Hopefully things can change for the better as time goes on for the Cardinals.
Coming from a life long cardinals fan... Bidwell shadows his father. Keeping kiem for as long as we did was a joke. Neither him nor Kliff should have received an extention and part of me thinks he had something on michael Bidwell getting one more payday before they both left. It's so frustrating being a card fan.
Bill would have never fired K2 or let keim go and since Michael has taken over the cards (as president of operations?....then owner recently) they've been the most successful in franchise history (not saying much). All I'm saying is he's probably better than Bill.
i mean it sucks but if im a cardinals fan this is my hope. take either carter or andersen, find solid pieces throughout the draft and potentially sit kyler until the last few weeks to tank for another high pick. then with that high pick some team will offer a ton of draft assets which can be used to rebuild around kyler on rookie deals in 2024. it sucks but its not hopeless, the hardest part is finding your franchise qb and you guys have that.
If they plan on tanking and making sure Kyler is 100% healthy and is as close to back as his normal self then trade hop and hopefully a team that really needs a WR1 in this terrible Wr market this year could give you a first or realistically a 2nd and some late day 3 picks. This would allow you to use that early 1st to replace Hopkins talent with Marvin Harrison jr. But burrow tore his ACL just a few weeks than when Kyler did and burrow was back for training camp. No one knows when Kyler will return and it comes down to how well his body heals with a speedy recovery. Cardinals doctors could just not clear him to play if they wanna tank so that way they can use some picks in this years draft and next years to beef up that interior Oline to protect him better for when he comes back. People tend to think that this AZ team has everything position they need to replace but they have good players there. Humphries is a good LT when he’s healthy and so is RG Hernandez. Hollywood was balling the first 6 weeks before he broke his foot. They just need to hit on some picks in this draft and the next. Most important thing is who they hire as coach. Monti seems competent but you need a good coach to bring in a new culture and identity to this team.
@@thedeleted1337 did you know that the offensive line matters too especially with a guy his height? don’t draft him if you aren’t gonna help him out all around.
I would love Jalen Carter or Will Anderson to replace JJ watt, but the most underrated thing was the pass rush and how Zach Allen and our 4th and 3rd round pick, they did so good and yet so underrated
I was livid when we got rid of Hassan Reddick, he led the team in sacks and we just bailed on him. Collins is good, but I would still rather have Jordan Hicks as a veteran in the mid field. We've neglected to draft a top shutdown CB and rely on Marco Wilson to be that guy, I don't think he's going to be that type of player. Now, to the offense, Murray needs to start being a real leader, he never respected Kliff, he needed a clause in his contract to watch film. I'm really hoping our new GM can change his attitude, he has said "we are not just collecting talent, we're building a team" and "ego will not be tolerated in this organization". I feel like this was directed at K1 and Hopkins.
Definitely directed at those 2. Hop was a cancer in Houston, notorious for faking injuries to get out of practice. Why they couldn't wait run him out of town. Murray's saving grace his he's still young. Maybe there's a chance he can mature
Saying Kyler Murray is good and looking at his rookie year as the example, is essentially hoping for lightning to strike twice. His contract was a ridiculous overpay and a giant mistake the Cardinals will regret for years. They'll dump him once they can and draft his replacement with the new regime.
I would have told the Cardinals to stay in St. Louis and then wait for an expansion team. I think this is the very sentiment that most AZ football fans believe but aren't willing to admit.
Honestly speaking, I think having the 3rd overall pick gives them more options than the bears. Everyone knows the bears are locked in on Justin Fields, it isn't a question. Likely speaking, Bryce Young will be the first QB off the board via Houston. I think the bears will get greedy and demand too big of a haul and end up just drafting Jalen Carter or Will Anderson. Sending the 3rd pick into a bidding war for a bunch of the mid/late round teams that may want to take a gamble on Levis, take Stroud or secure the remaining of the top two Defensive players. So your options could be: -Draft best available defensive player (not bad but you have a lot of problems one player can't fix) -Trade back and ideally secure multiple firsts/seconds depending on team (look at a team like the Eagles, Panthers, Falcons or Buccs to make a push) this gives them the best outcome, as you could get multiple firsts/seconds for this year or push to get some of that draft capital for next off season and see what you're looking at when Kyler comes back. Will you need to draft a QB if he comes back not even 70% of himself? Will you want to draft him weapons because you're likely trading D Hop this off season? What compensation can you get for D Hop? How will Kyler gel with the next coach? Lots of questions but i think their best case scenario is this: 1. Trade your 3rd overall pick and maybe a random third to Atl/Car (even with a good QB they will still be mid for another season or two) for their first, next years first and a second. 2. Trade D Hop to a team like Green Bay (they could use him to keep A Rod), the Vikings (extra weapon for a win now team that loves to throw) or New England (desperate to get a legit weapon to help salvage mac jones). In either case, you can get a first and a third if you throw in maybe a second or third yourself. 3. You will have the 8th/9th pick in this draft, pick 14,15 or 23, then additional 2nd rounders. 4. Primary focus should be improving the defense as your offense will be shot this year, so stack up your defense and assess what you need for the following year. 5. Bolster up the O line, perfect situation for an O line to develop, the team could care less if a back up gets beaten and banged up so they can make mistakes and not get blasted for it as long as they show improvement. 6. Gauge your cap space, with Kyler on a massive deal you have to lean on drafting well to build a good roster. With D Hop also off the salary, you can spread that to areas of need. 7. Look at next years prospects and who you are hoping to get, if Kyler is only good to play the last 2 games of the season or so, maybe look at limiting his minutes even if he's healthy to secure another top pick. I would recommend looking at a traditional blocking TE like a Darnell Washington if your identity is going to be a mobile QB at the helm. 8. Hire a young DC, preferably one with experience in coaching skill positions like DBs. The league is shifting much more to a passing game, and investing in talented young Corners is paying off for several teams already. Finally, you look at your position and decide if Kyler can lead you to a Super Bowl once healthy and well equipped. If not, dump him for picks and look to enter a Bengals/Chargers situation, find a great young QB on their rookie deal and build up the team around them as much as you can while you can afford it. Doing all this, i honestly think the Cards could be serious contenders in about 2-3 seasons.
Yeah I don’t see the next few years being kind to kyler. First new head coach and most likely new offensive system. Second during the key learning part of the system he is going to be out still healing from injury. So at best he is half a season behind everyone else but probably more as much of the install will be ota and training camp. Kyler is going to have to work his ass off to catch back up ( and his work ethic is one of his biggest questions) probably new coach gets fired after year 2 and Kyler is on another head coach and quite possibly 3rd offensive system
I agree that they’re in a tough spot to try and win this next year, however I would argue that if you view the next year as a rebuild year and try to win in 2024 then they don’t look nearly as bad. With Murray out most of next year that’s a great opportunity to use that $14 million of available cap to fill some holes and if they get a decent return for DHop then they’re in even better shape. Let’s not forget this is a team that went 11-0 to start back in 2021 so there are still reasons for optimism but a lot is going to depend on how they rebuild the roster this offseason/draft and who they bring in as HC and GM
Pain. However kyler Murray is still a great qb I still see stars I'm this team it just needs to invest in the offensive line and interior dline (Jalen carter) they will be decent
As a Bears fan in AZ(who also roots for the Cards) I wish you were right but the Claypool trade eliminated any chance at D-Hop. I understood the trade as they were trying to keep him away from GB, but hindsight being 20/20 they would’ve offered the BAL pick instead of their own 2nd. Best bet is hoping HOU gets worried that INDY is gonna leapfrog them and offers 2 and 12 for 1 so Bears can get Anderson and either Skoronski or Johnson while hoping to find a Metcalf or Watson level WR in the 2nd.
@Moshe Goldberg my point is other than just happening to land a talented qb on the back end of his career the cards have had little to no luck drafting or developing quarterbacks, you drafted K1 1st overall, he proved himself enough to get an extension, and now y’all want him out??? and your alternative is to wait around for idk some imaginary qb who will never hit free agency or have the upside kyler has
Will Levis, out of Kentucky,is the best prospect for the Cardinals. It takes a couple years to groom a good QB.Kylar Murray can start if he can stay healthy.Only Murray thinks that he is still worth his salary! I had high hopes for him,but the reality is that He should have never been drafted! ❤❤
I could see fletcher cox coming aboard especially to follow coach Gannon and him being a free agent, I sure hope we draft Jalen carter those those two on the D line will be nasty!!!
D-Hop was a steal, at the time. Fast forward a few years, 2 years he only played half a season (one injury, one busted with steroids). As a cards fan wish I had that 40th pick and cap space instead of Hop.
Really not as bad as it seems, Bidwell is doing his due diligence and trying to acquire the best coach available. We already replaced the GM and that was a huge move. We are hopeful yes, but I think this team's culture is about to change for the better for the 1st time in almost a decade. Card's are making moves, so that is better than being in stagnation hell with Steve Keim.
let the GM make executive decisions...hire THE best coach available...dump the office staff that isnt doing the job, and keep reminding Bidwell...it takes cash to make a team...maybe he was wrong to buy that airplane...it all went sideways after it was announced...could have put that money on players...
I gave up my support for the Cardinals before last seaon began.I no longer buy tickets, and go to the games. There are way too many mistakes made on The quarterback position, with Kyler Murray. He is too short to see,or throw over the defensive line.He is also accident prone. The worst attibute he has,is that he is not a team player,or team leader.Kyler is out for himself, and only himself. The Cardinals already have good QB,in McCoy.Use him as the starting QB.They will rally around him,and give thier best effort.Sheesh! Get rid of the biggest problem! Ty
I’m interested in what the cardinals do at qb. With Kyler out the cardinals will have at least 4months without him, I feel the cardinals might want to sign baker as I don’t think baker will want to play as backup to Matthew Stafford and might want him. Plus with teams like the saints raiders, jets and bucs needing QBs I don’t see FAs like jimmy G or Derek carr going to the cardinals. But how will the next head coach work with baker at the start of the year and then kyler later. Interesting what they could do but out of the FA options baker seems like the best depending on the coach you get.
I'm curious to see if Baker sticks with LA out of appreciation for them claiming off waivers. It's not a bad situation to sit behind Stafford a year or two and then take over once the Rams get through this current Cap Hell situation they're in. We shall see.
@@johnchedsey1306 we shall see, it’s obviously better for baker to stay in LA as long as Mcvay is there since stafford probably has a year or two before he retires, but will baker actually learn his lesson and not let his ego of wanting to be a starter get the best of him? Hopefully he learns his lesson cause staying with the rams with cooper and Robinson might be the best thing
I think this year and next should act as a soft rebuild but I believe in 2024 they can compete. Things can turn around quickly with a few good moves and a franchise qb
The best move for the Cardinals is for Bidwell to sell the team. Unlikely, because he is content to live off the shared revenue. Maybe in another life.
Well. They finally took the first step forward by taking out the root of the problem in Steve Keim. It was his decision to keep an aging Chandler Jones over Haasan Reddick who had a breakout year in his last year with the Cardinals smh.
True Cardinal Fan insight I'll share. Simmons is underratted. After using the most players ever in one year due to injury, Simmons our starting MLB was our 1 CB by the end of the year. Not many players can do that. Rondale Moore is a bust that simple. And Kyler clearly tried less once he got paid. And a big one people are overlooking is covid cost us 2 WR. A big reason Fitz retired was from how sick he got and where Andy Isabella go? I'm honestly starting to think Old Man Bidwell got a football team as part of some deal with the Devil. Sure feel cursed and unlucky.
Their biggest mistake was hiring Kingsburg in the first place, guy has never won anywhere he's coached, still trying to figure out what qualifications he had to helm an NFL team, lol. Good offensive coordinator in college, but that's about it.
At this point it's like kicking a Dead Horse. We all know there a disaster...They will be good again soon. Its not that Michael Bidwell don't care...He just messed up trusting in Steve Keim too much...I think He learned a lession
Yup. I hate my own team. Sean Payton is with the broncos and Demeco Ryans is with Houston. I’m hoping we get Brian Flores. Everyone else is just gonna be 1-2 year coach (should be)
All I heard all week was how cheap the Cards could get Sean Payton for: "Play hardball!" , "They'll take a 2nd rd pick and be happy or get nothing." Instead of doing what it takes to change a culture of losing, this organization does just enough to fool fans into having hope. Pffft
3rd pick this year, 1st pick next year. Kyler should sit out and get healthy next year. Get another skapegoat coach (VJ) and build for future. Ideally they should have kept Kliff for one more year and fired Keim as they did.

getting another WR sounds good, but I think we should go for a slightly bigger WR, i think the cardinals are good with rondale moore and hollywood, we need a more physical guy like Rome or Rashee
And they're gonna have to pay Jalen hurts now
Kyler looks like he's genetically compromised, and good on the Arizona fans for embracing the disabled. Just keep that thing on your roster, keep throwing money at it, and keep it the hell away from the A's. We like our retards, no doubt. We had Canseco and Mcgwire, but those retards were all in. Unlike Murray.
Biggest problem with the cardinals they paid the shortstop qb money
I kinda forgot this team existed.
“69 million dollars NICE” 😂
@@johndoyle3232 Kyler is the only reason why this team is relevant
The nfl needs to stop paying quarterbacks this ridiculous money. They aren’t worth it
Cardinals have the worst future of any NFL team. There is nothing positive to say about this team right now.
Nah. Most injuries in the NFL this year. They are 2 years away. The new GM and new Asst. GM both have great drafting records. It's a project but they'll become competitive.
It’s hard being an Arizona fan 😔
No. It's hard being a Browns fan 😕
Being a falcon fan isnt the best but at least we are heading in the right direction😅
@@Ghost465-u7j you think? feels like its getting worse

thing is with the hollywood bown trade.
Hopefully things can change for the better as time goes on for the Cardinals.
its been that way since they got here in '87 or '88
Coming from a life long cardinals fan...
All I'm saying is he's probably better than Bill.
well....Kliff did get a very nice payday....now he is in Thailand...bangin the beauties'...
i mean it sucks but if im a cardinals fan this is my hope. take either carter or andersen, find solid pieces throughout the draft and potentially sit kyler until the last few weeks to tank for another high pick. then with that high pick some team will offer a ton of draft assets which can be used to rebuild around kyler on rookie deals in 2024. it sucks but its not hopeless, the hardest part is finding your franchise qb and you guys have that.
Great Video! Love when you post content... Keep it up!
Thank you!
Lmaooo I cannot with you.
Rattles off names that add up to $69 million "Nice" and goes on about more players.😂
I’m a Cards fan and tbh I gave up half way through the 22 season, I love this team but it’s really hard to be so inconsistent year after year
still have faith in kyler, don’t understand how one espn headline blinds everyone from his potential
Hes had WR talent his entire time in AZ and still can't perform at a top 5 qb level
@Ian i mean, he clearly cares about winning. that’s why he’s so passionate, you’d know that if you played a sport.
@@thedeleted1337 did you know that the offensive line matters too especially with a guy his height? don’t draft him if you aren’t gonna help him out all around.
Lol people lost faith because of his play
@@zaboknowsbest13 people lost faith because of his contract. everyone was okay with him before that
I would love Jalen Carter or Will Anderson to replace JJ watt, but the most underrated thing was the pass rush and how Zach Allen and our 4th and 3rd round pick, they did so good and yet so underrated
Can’t tell you how devastated I am that Sean Payton chose Denver… Aaaaarghhh!!!
you can thank kyler murray for that.
I will never forget Matt Leinart!
WHAT A COMPLETE DUD THAT GUY WAS....
That "69 million dollars....nice comment had me spitting out my coffee🤣 Great job!
Isn't the elephant in the room here Kyler Murray's integrity? Tremendous talent can cover up for immaturity for only so long.
Why on earth did JJ Watt ever go here
The Bengals could have used him last night.
Do one on the saints and see what they need to be sb ready
Saying Kyler Murray is good and looking at his rookie year as the example, is essentially hoping for lightning to strike twice. His contract was a ridiculous overpay and a giant mistake the Cardinals will regret for years. They'll dump him once they can and draft his replacement with the new regime.
Self inflicted wounds. Murray needs to put in the work while healing. Game tape and play book.
the “nice” got me LOL
Am a Cardinals fan. All I know is pain.
Quit crying. Trying being a Browns fan then you'll truly know pain. Our team has been horrible since they came back in 1999. That's pain!!!
The biggest disaster is Kyler Murray’s contract. They will still be paying him long after he leaves the team (or even the NFL).
I would have told the Cardinals to stay in St. Louis and then wait for an expansion team. I think this is the very sentiment that most AZ football fans believe but aren't willing to admit.
This is my favorite football channel
Thank you!
So your options could be:
-Draft best available defensive player (not bad but you have a lot of problems one player can't fix)
-Trade back and ideally secure multiple firsts/seconds depending on team (look at a team like the Eagles, Panthers, Falcons or Buccs to make a push) this gives them the best outcome, as you could get multiple firsts/seconds for this year or push to get some of that draft capital for next off season and see what you're looking at when Kyler comes back. Will you need to draft a QB if he comes back not even 70% of himself? Will you want to draft him weapons because you're likely trading D Hop this off season? What compensation can you get for D Hop? How will Kyler gel with the next coach?
Lots of questions but i think their best case scenario is this:
The cardinals have always been a disaster. Thanks Bidwell. From st.louis to Arizona, nothing has changed.
Kliff Kingsbury’s documentary is going to one of the greatest heist movies of all time
Yeah I don’t see the next few years being kind to kyler.
U think he could be the first ever first round pick in baseball and football and not have a great work ethic?
Thanks Captain Hindsight.
Gonna be a slow climb back to relevancy. Keim and Kliffy wiped their feet directly on our couch.
Cardinals issue was a lot of bad luck with injuries and D-Hop suspension.
We were 7-0 not 11-0.
@@XxAverageJoexX my bad, you’re right. 9-2 headed into the bye, not sure why I thought it was 11-0
If the Cards trade with Panters, I'd expect a swap of 1st with a this year 2nd and 3rd and with Derrick Brown added on to the trade.
I am hoping the GM rebuilds the O-Line. Everyone wants to blame Murray. Our O-Line was not good.
Pain. However kyler Murray is still a great qb I still see stars I'm this team it just needs to invest in the offensive line and interior dline (Jalen carter) they will be decent
Don’t mind me. Just a Bears fan dreaming that the Cards trade Dhop to us so Justin Fields has a true WR1 to help him develop 🙏
Best bet is hoping HOU gets worried that INDY is gonna leapfrog them and offers 2 and 12 for 1 so Bears can get Anderson and either Skoronski or Johnson while hoping to find a Metcalf or Watson level WR in the 2nd.
any cardinals fan dying to get rid of kyler needs to take a long hard look at the starting quarterbacks they’ve had the last 20 years
I'll take Kurt Warner any day of the week. But yeah Kyler is the best QB they've ever drafted and can't afford to give up on him.
@Moshe Goldberg they played what a combined 4 seasons for y’all and neither were drafted by the team
@Moshe Goldberg okay john skeleton
@Moshe Goldberg my point is other than just happening to land a talented qb on the back end of his career the cards have had little to no luck drafting or developing quarterbacks, you drafted K1 1st overall, he proved himself enough to get an extension, and now y’all want him out??? and your alternative is to wait around for idk some imaginary qb who will never hit free agency or have the upside kyler has
@Moshe Goldberg too late now bud they’ve not selling him low
Will Levis, out of Kentucky,is the best prospect for the Cardinals. It takes a couple years to groom a good QB.Kylar Murray can start if he can stay healthy.Only Murray thinks that he is still worth his salary! I had high hopes for him,but the reality is that He should have never been drafted! ❤❤
Kyler Murray is terrible and giving him that contract was their worst mistake next to drafting him.
Sooner or later, this team will regret extending contract with Kyler Murrey. 5 years 230million contract.
great vid are you doing a vikes off season vid ??
Just found your channel and subbed. Excellent content. Keep it up!!!
Thank you!
i really miss prime david johnson and palmer
I could see fletcher cox coming aboard especially to follow coach Gannon and him being a free agent, I sure hope we draft Jalen carter those those two on the D line will be nasty!!!
D-Hop was a steal, at the time. Fast forward a few years, 2 years he only played half a season (one injury, one busted with steroids). As a cards fan wish I had that 40th pick and cap space instead of Hop.
Biggest what if in nfl history other than Bo Jackson is that how good would've JJ been if he had not gotten hurt
On what planet is kyler a franchise qb
I gave up my support for the Cardinals before last seaon began.I no longer buy tickets, and go to the games. There are way too many mistakes made on The quarterback position, with Kyler Murray. He is too short to see,or throw over the defensive line.He is also accident prone. The worst attibute he has,is that he is not a team player,or team leader.Kyler is out for himself, and only himself. The Cardinals already have good QB,in McCoy.Use him as the starting QB.They will rally around him,and give thier best effort.Sheesh! Get rid of the biggest problem! Ty
Cardinals need an actual coach. Kingsbury was a disaster
Very rare to have success with a team built around wide receivers the cardinals are the only team I can think of that had real success with it in 2008
They paid their head case QB a fortune, and he can't throw worth a damn.
The best move for the Cardinals is for Bidwell to sell the team. Unlikely, because he is content to live off the shared revenue. Maybe in another life.
I think best case scenario for them is to trade the 1st round pick & deandre Hopkins & acquire assets to get some new personel on the field
Yet another team that has sucked for so many iterations. It’s an ownership problem, like the Chargers, Texans and Cowboys.
69 mil?!?! Nice
imagine being deandre hopkins and getting suspended half the year and then immediately demanding a trade after the season went poorly
Watching this as Sean is going to denver
At this point it's like kicking a Dead Horse. We all know there a disaster...They will be good again soon. Its not that Michael Bidwell don't care...He just messed up trusting in Steve Keim too much...I think He learned a lession
As a cardinals fan you are right
please do a video about the bears!
Pffft
Another ☝🏾..
3rd pick this year, 1st pick next year. Kyler should sit out and get healthy next year. Get another skapegoat coach (VJ) and build for future. Ideally they should have kept Kliff for one more year and fired Keim as they did.
The Arizona Cardinals Are A Complete Disaster... not yet.
Kyler Murray 2023 Cap Number $16,007,000
Kyler Murray 2024 Cap Number $51,857,000
