But, thank you...it is always so comforting to hear others experiences. Sometimes, anxiety makes you feel like you're the only person who has been through it, but that's not true! ❤💕

Totally, that's happened in my cycle before. It's usually just water weight and it comes on very suddenly and it leaves after my period is totally finished. Some months are just crazy like that. I've had months where certain scents make me sick, some months I feel so fat, but other months it's like it's not even happening. How my period is is always so dependent on my intake and stress levels. If it's painless and easy going, I know I've been good to myself that previous month. If not, I know I need to fix a few things.
1. I gained at least 20lbs after getting off birth control, so that may be what’s happening to you if you’ve recently gotten off birth control 2. I love what you said about anxiety. My anxiety was taking over my life for a few years. I couldn’t even go to the grocery store or drive without an anxiety attack. I went on antidepressants and my anxiety is a bit more manageable and I can do regular things finally. I believe God is able to heal and sometimes it is through medication.

Were you ever on hormonal birth control? When I stopped taking mine, my hormones fluctuated SO MUCH over the next 2 years. It caused me to have terrible cramps and acne, a heavy flow, and gain a ton of water weight every month. Crossing my fingers that your hormones are regulating in preparation for a baby ♥️

This isn’t to scare you but I just want to throw it out there in case you need treatment. I went years (like 9 years) without treatment and it is the worst. I don’t want to overstep boundaries but I would hate for someone to keep suffering. Best wishes ❤️

Okay, I need you to know that God is definitely using you to reach people & it’s working! I’ve had the toughest year with anxiety & panic disorder & depression (all new to me) and this past month was the worst month of my life, I have been going back & forth on if I want to try anti-depressants....this is the third time today I’ve happened upon someone talking about them & the fake-numb feeling they give. So now I feel like he’s definitely talking to me 😂 so thanks for including this part in your video! You’re right, church and the Word have been the only thing to bring me out of it & bring me back to ~life again. I posted a short testimony video recently hoping it would get the point across...God can change it all for anyone who’s willing 🙌🏻 Thanks for being a positive light 💕

In regards to anxiety and medication, ive been looking into vitamins and supplements, cause yes some ppl have chemical imbalances and maybe are lacking a certain thing that those vitamins can help??? This is my non professional doing-my-own-research opinion. I've still been trying to figure out how to help my husband who gets panic attacks. He is not an anxious person at all. There is something imbalanced in him. The weather will change and his body gets panicky. When his body is around certain frequencies in a building or he eats anything from a microwave, he gets shaky/dizzy and panicky. Then it also will randomly happen 😔. Thankfully it doesn't happen often but it sucks when he goes through it. Just read an article to try Vitamin B6 so I ordered that 🤞 that it will help him! Dont know if this helps anyone, but man anxiety is tricky! Cause it's so different for everyone! Hope everyone can feel a little better from Emelynes video! 💖

Yes normally you can gain water weight a week before your period. Which can be why you noticed some weight gain. Or before your period starts. I normally eat way more than I usually do before my period.
Girl..my sis couldn't get pregnant for the longest time, and the doctors told her nothing was wrong with her or him.. She did think about it A LOT tho, and sometimes pregnancy is a psycological hormonal thing, where when you think and worry about it, it won't happen.. the moment she started thinking ''i din't care anymore.. not gonna think about it'' that was when she got pregnant!

But when churches only tell stories from the bible, use big terms and don't relate it to life now it can be very hard to follow and understand. Desiree Stanley for me personally I believe it’s okay. Jesus drank wine and it’s in scripture many times. I think that as a Christian we shouldn’t abuse it nor should anyone else. I don’t like drinking just because I don’t like the taste of alcohol but if I were to have a glass of something then that’s okay! But drinking to get drunk and be wild is definitely a different story
This is not meant to be mean or to judge, but why are you in such a rush to skip this beautiful season in your life by getting pregnant so quickly? You are only 26 & a newlywed. You may have dated your husband for 8 years, but you have so much to learn about each other now that you are married, living together and creating your first house together. This is such a special time for you as a couple because now it is just about the two of you as husband and wife. Find the special memories and other "flamingo" jokes as a married couple. This is the time to build your foundation as a married couple. That is how you make your lives strong together. Once you get pregnant, it is all about you two as parents, and everything will evolve around you two as parents, not a married couple. There is plenty of time for that. You can have it all but not all at once and not all at the same time. Enjoy the beautiful season you are in. Don;t wish it away. Stay in the moment and be grateful for the present. The future will come at the right time. :)
Doula here have you thought of looking into getting a fertility doula? They help give advice and support with how your body is and know different methods that might help you. Nothing medical just support and facts for you to learn your body more.
Your symptoms sound like my current period symptoms, aside from the drastic weight gain. I gain a little bit. But not 5 pounds. However, I am only 20, so maybe that will change. It might all be related to your period.
Emelyne, I love you and your videos, and the fact that you'll take time out of your day to share your thoughts with us, but when you said you didn't like churches that preached from the Bible, that hurt me. I would rather my church preach from the Bible than from anything else, and if they aren't, then they aren't fulfilling their role in God's Will. While the Bible may not say anything specific about modern issues and anxiety, it does say to wait on the Lord, and He will give you strength. It says to worry not and to trust in the Lord with all thine heart. I would rather hear exactly what God's Holy Word, His Bible, has to say than I would man's interpretation of it. I'm glad my church preaches the Bible like it's written and that they don't sugarcoat anything. I want the Bible given to me just the way God wrote it, nothing else. *I may have gotten a little long-winded, but I meant everything I said.

Hey Emelyne, As a future doctor (I'm starting Med school next year) I just wanted to mention that it's perfectly well for individuals to use medication and still be religious. God does give us miracles but miracles are *rare* and He wants us to take care of ourselves. I was very anti medication for the longest time but I used sleeping pills for the first time to help with my anxiety and it helped so much. While going off medication might've helped for you, not everyone who is on medication is at a stable enough point to get off medication. I'd recommend everyone speak to their healthcare providers before going off medication.

Some pill don't work on people like she said it didn't work on her and that's fine. Girl..my sis couldn't get pregnant for the longest time, and the doctors told her nothing was wrong with her or him.. She did think about it A LOT tho, and sometimes pregnancy is a psycological hormonal thing, where when you think and worry about it, it won't happen.. the moment she started thinking ''i din't care anymore.. not gonna think about it'' that was when she got pregnant!
N. Dinc you are sooo right!! I think the stress of overthinking it is so unhealthy and definitely causes pregnancy to not happen

My cousin got told that she would NEVER be able to have kids from doctors both here in Denmark AND the doctors in Turkey said the same.. guess what. she has two boys now! :-)

I want a church to preach from the bible, the bible is our guide to life! But when churches only tell stories from the bible, use big terms and don't relate it to life now it can be very hard to follow and understand. A lot of sermons are more professional/focus heavy on dates/terms rather than preaching a message that the congregation will relate to. I think most of you understood what I meant but I just wanted to clear it up incase!
what is your take on drinking wine and your christianity?
Desiree Stanley for me personally I believe it’s okay. Jesus drank wine and it’s in scripture many times. I think that as a Christian we shouldn’t abuse it nor should anyone else. I don’t like drinking just because I don’t like the taste of alcohol but if I were to have a glass of something then that’s okay! But drinking to get drunk and be wild is definitely a different story

This is not meant to be mean or to judge, but why are you in such a rush to skip this beautiful season in your life by getting pregnant so quickly? You are only 26 & a newlywed. You may have dated your husband for 8 years, but you have so much to learn about each other now that you are married, living together and creating your first house together. This is such a special time for you as a couple because now it is just about the two of you as husband and wife. Find the special memories and other "flamingo" jokes as a married couple. This is the time to build your foundation as a married couple. That is how you make your lives strong together. Once you get pregnant, it is all about you two as parents, and everything will evolve around you two as parents, not a married couple. There is plenty of time for that. You can have it all but not all at once and not all at the same time. Enjoy the beautiful season you are in. Don;t wish it away. Stay in the moment and be grateful for the present. The future will come at the right time. :)

Your symptoms sound like my current period symptoms, aside from the drastic weight gain. I gain a little bit. But not 5 pounds. However, I am only 20, so maybe that will change. It might all be related to your period.
Im sorry to put this in your head but its possible you had an early miscarriage or chemical pregnancy.

Emelyne, I love you and your videos, and the fact that you'll take time out of your day to share your thoughts with us, but when you said you didn't like churches that preached from the Bible, that hurt me. I would rather my church preach from the Bible than from anything else, and if they aren't, then they aren't fulfilling their role in God's Will. While the Bible may not say anything specific about modern issues and anxiety, it does say to wait on the Lord, and He will give you strength. It says to worry not and to trust in the Lord with all thine heart.
I would rather hear exactly what God's Holy Word, His Bible, has to say than I would man's interpretation of it. I'm glad my church preaches the Bible like it's written and that they don't sugarcoat anything. I want the Bible given to me just the way God wrote it, nothing else.

@@SweetEmelynes I'm sorry if I seemed accusatory. I have a tendency to get defensive about my faith. Perhaps I did misunderstand. My church is very much a traditional, old-time religion church, but my pastor is very good about finding ways the Bible applies today. I guess churches in New York are a little different.

As a future doctor (I'm starting Med school next year) I just wanted to mention that it's perfectly well for individuals to use medication and still be religious.
God does give us miracles but miracles are *rare* and He wants us to take care of ourselves. I was very anti medication for the longest time but I used sleeping pills for the first time to help with my anxiety and it helped so much.
While going off medication might've helped for you, not everyone who is on medication is at a stable enough point to get off medication. I'd recommend everyone speak to their healthcare providers before going off medication.

@@sofiabravo1994 God canot completely heal someone, you can think he can but that's not true and she shouldnt say things like that. Some pill don't work on people like she said it didn't work on her and that's fine. But I don't accept the fact that she said God is the answer because some people really needs the medication and that could influence them to not take it. (Sorry for my english I speak french)
