I literally went down a rabbit hole a year ago trying to figure this out. I live in Canada so those snare rack options were even more expensive. I did the same shelving as you, but bought shelf lining from the dollar store (kind of thin padding) so the snares weren’t directly on the medal. Turned out great and Im very happy with it!
Merry Christmas Brothers and Sisters! That is exactly what I have mine on! I guess mine is a little larger. I have mine sideways as well, plus my computer and stereo equipment, and more. Great racks! I got the chrome one and it looks pretty nice. Very configurable as you showed! 🎉 🥁🥁🥁🥁🥁
i have a couple of these. they work great if you get the 72" tall 6 shelf ones. 4 ft wide and 18 inches deep. i can fit as many as 3 kits on one rack, depending on how many pieces. the only down side is some drums stick in the wire racks with tom legs or longer tension rods on kicks. also once drums are in cases you can't fit as many but still. dusty ass garage having them all in cases and up on shelves that roll around is super nice.
Thank you, I appreciate. However, this year I can't help but listen to Sufjan Stevens' song about it over and over again. And the diorama clip couldn't fit better :,( I hope at least you enjoy. Much love and strength to you and your beloved.

Do what you do best ! Rate those kits brother 🎉
You might be able to slit and fit a pool noodle on the outside horizontal bars to allow the snares to rest on. Great stuff man!
Joey, you are a very innovative and entertaining young man.🤩🤗❤️🙏🏻

Man, I thought there was going to be something crazy and it's the exact same shelf I've got. It's a great idea.

Merry Christmas brothers and sisters
Same to you brother!
Merry brotherly Christmas sisters! Or brothers.
You could easily put some cheap Walmart towels on the shelf first too to protect them from metal on metal if you needed, still very cheap solution.
Love it
My OG snare rack was a old wooden fishtank holder lol
Glockenspiel? I didn't see any bells. Plastic jam block maybe?

By any chance, is that Fool in the Rain? It sounds like Bonham’s drumming.
