I find it so interesting that Scientology has basically preserved a lot of the slang terms that were used in the 1950s because Hubbert used them. I'm a big Robert Heinlein fan, and he used a lot of the same language in his books. Maybe a sociologist out there could write a paper on it.

The 1950s era and 1960s era of Scientology ex staffers is probably down to a small few.
Did Bent Corydon ever go to the Apollo, and his stories there, would be interesting to hear someday.
Yes Bent Did go to the ship and he met LRH while there as a student.
@@JanisGillhamGrady The problems Bent ran into which Bent wrote about in his book, are the same problems early Dianeticists and Scientologists ran into, which was LRH's demands written into stone (Scientology movement/followership policies) extracting a fixed cut and pricing rules which the "field auditors" and Mission auditors/Missions felt they wished to undercut the fixed prices for services that LRH policies demanded of them.
So many relevant details, and then the Missions likely were more flexible, paid their staffs better, didn't have "management" from the continental regions which were driven by "top management" at the Apollo, and Missions simply kept more of their profits, unlike the money orgs made was made to be extracted and moved upwards into the "top" of the movement, due to the Flag Banking Officers policies that run the show in orgs.
QUESTION: Janis, I think "Flag Relative Imoportances" is a long term strategic important writing by LRH and wish it had become public. I think it tragically is why Miscavige favors the orgs over the missions, due to LRH placing orgs as number one, in the "Flag Relative Importances" list of priorities strategically. Correct?
The only non lrh books we sold were ruth’s choosing ppl and raising children (miracles for breakfast). There was a yellow booklet called “how to have money” but I forgot who wrote that. Don’t think it was lrh.
All my stuff/books have been in storage out of state for a decade. Pretty sure i still have the money booklet.
I had a copy of that from my dad's collection - will see if I can find it to answer your question.
I remember it had some lrh ideas in it but the pic in my head doesn’t say ron. I just can’t see it all lol.
The raising children book was interesting. Only two kids per couple so the children each got enough attention. Clearly another rule he never followed.
