- Ep#25 of Forts of India: A massive fort in Bundi is built at a height of 500 meters on a hill by Rao Singh Bar in the 13th century. Built in 1354 AD, the Taragarh Fort is one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan. Perched on a highly wooded hill is a wonderful fort with huge water tanks that once delivered water to the palace. This large water tanks in the fort provided the palace the water especially during the time of wars.

बूंदी का संस्थापक शासक बूंदा मीना था । उसके बाद उसके वंशज राव जेतामीना से देवा हाड़ा ने जीती। बूंदी का नाम बूंदा के नाम पर रखा गया था।

Very sad to see. My ancestors came from Bundi state to Punjab in 1192 AD during the time of Sultan Shahab u din Ghori. We are Koshal Rajput descendants of Raja Man Singh of Bundi state. I wish, if I have authority and resources, then I operate this fort as resort and a museum.

yes bundi was named after him....and history is distorted....rao deva took bundi from jaita meena nt by defeating him bt by a cowardly act....like kachwah rajputs did with ralun singh meena......rao deva accepted the marrage proposal for his daughter from jaita meena's son.... bt in the wedding rao deva poisoned meenas .........n thats hw they took bundi...othrwise they were defeated numerous times by jaita meena on battlefield.....look in this link .... shodhganga.inflibnet.ac.in/bitstream/10603/15116/8/08_chapter%201.pdf
@@Soul_of_the_gaming_lord93 my friend jaita meena was cruel toward people of bundi and his cruelty was destroyed by Hada rajputs. And you said that they poisoned jaita meena if they poisoned jaita meena than where were all other his adivasi meena army, all his cruel army was also destroyed.
@@Maheshrajsingh ..first of all he was not cruel secondally ....they poisoned him.....not defeated ....that was the most cowardly act ....and Adivasis don't build forts there are lots of forts of meenas in rajasthan...it's just that people like u have suppressed the history
@@Soul_of_the_gaming_lord93 @Abhishek Meena he was cruel you can see on RUclips and according to James tod poisoned was given to only jaita meena and his adivasi army also surrenderd its according to British historian who may have write wrong history and jaita meena didn't built any fort they used to live in jungle and taragarh was built by Hada rajputs and from so many years Hada rulers rule over bundi and adivasi meena didn't try to capture it again, you can search on RUclips 'Rajtantra Bundi' nowhere they said that they poisoned to jaita meena.
