    Some quotes from Marissa:
"Period cramps were more painful than my contractions ever were. It was so manageable that when I called the hospital they said I only sounded a couple centimeters dilated. 20 minutes after that phone call I was holding baby in my arms after getting into my tub because I realized he was coming and there was no time to get to the hospital."
"I couldn’t believe he was here and mine! It didn’t really sink in that he was here until a couple hours later when we were at the hospital and I had a moment where it was just him and I in the room."
Marissa's advice to you: "It is a mindset! Without the mindset it’s so hard. You have to want to do it and have CONFIDENCE! If you’re not confident in your capabilities as a woman you will doubt yourself in the hard moments. When you know you are able and strong enough nothing can stop you!"

I took the Mama Natural birth course. Wanted a natural water birth at a smaller hospital. Had my baby in the ambulance on the way to a big hospital. It was not my birth plan! 😂 We are both good now.

I had a similar experience. Unexpected natural home birth with my husband calm, supportive and caught our baby! Then our midwife arrived and helped me deliver the placenta! CONGRATULATIONS MAMA!!

Love it. Congrats Marissa. Yeah I was getting a ton of Braxton hicks before 37 weeks- maybe too much of that tea? gonna start drinking that again and am working on the dates. Praying for a smooth delivery at the birth center for our first ♥

Thank you for sharing! Is the red raspberry tea only supposed to be taken near the end, and not throughout the pregnancy?

Some mamas drink it throughout the pregnancy-it’s really best to discuss with your doctor or midwife to determine what’s best for your situation! Many mamas do wait until they’re close to the end before starting it but it may not be as effective as a uterine toner if you wait that long.

Hey! I have intense menstrual pains too, and labor was actually better pain wise because I at least got breaks between the intensity of contractions. 😂
My labor was 9 hours (almost to the minute too).
    Way to go mama!

The breaks can definitely make the intensity more tolerable! Congratulations on your little one!
