    Well, the rest of us think you are fantastic, thank you very much! Even the horsies could feel your great energy "he's all alone so he must be talking to us! AND he's having a picnic" (after realizing it was not a picnic) well, let's hope he pets us on his way out!"
    Great finds, I never miss your videos! I always feel like commenting but end up almost never doing it because they were "silly things" that crossed my mind but now, seeing the kind of rude comments people leave, I felt like listing the silly things I did not comment on: thank you for showing the red clover on the side of the field the other day. I live in Brazil and had never seen them (we get white or occasionally purple ones here) and I loved seeing them. I'm here for the detecting like everyone else but I love any glimpses of wildflowers, berries, wildlife and weather and we got to see your beautiful family (and the cutest dog) on one occasion!!! It was so sweet! Thank you for everything. 🙏

      Aww, that's so nice of you ☺️, and please do comment with your "silly things", as I love to read all the comments.

      Thank you, I don't usually worry about the negative ones, and I certainly don't take them to heart. I just thought I would highlight this guy calling what I do "stupid" 😂.
      You're right though, I need to carry on ignoring them, otherwise they get what they wanted.
      Thank you for watching 😊

    I saw a comment on Facebook recently from a grumpy old man saying ALL us youtubers plant all our finds then proceed to ruin the patina on them with our squirty bottles 🙄🤣🙄 enjoyed that though, can't wait to get an annular brooch 👌👌

      @DiggerDanMetalDetecting  4 месяца назад

      Thank you mate 👍 😊. The only place I can think of, if you are in the UK, would be composite Cleaning Pencil www.cleaningpencil.com/
      They sell coins to clean up, so still have the dirt on them. If not, I guess ebay would have them 👍

    I feel coins that have been in the ground for 2 thousand years, subject to centuries of cow wee and laterly chemicals, are not going to be too bothered by a drop of water!

  • @tonyhirons5445
    @tonyhirons5445 4 месяца назад +1

    Some of the coins have been in the ground for nearly two thousand years, getting wet and tossed about by the plough. Squirting a drop of water on them isn't going to do any more damage than what they have been through. Olive oil my arse! 🙂

    Hello, today was my first time with manticore and maybe is a noob question; the case is that in all metal, ground give me a constant 36-38 big red ferrous number, for me is like im detecting in a sea of iron where the detector must try to find the good targets, and it seems like it lose so much effectiveness... i tried with a medium coin and while in air gives me a decent depth, if i cover it with some ground it became invisible for the detector, like no signal at all while buried less than 8 inches. I tried ground balance but was kinda imposible in that field, everything is 36-38ID. Also tried removing all metal and yeah, no more big red numbers, but the target still invisible... any idea what should i try next? thanks

      What is your sensitivity set to? It sounds like you are getting a lot of falsing and need to lower your sensitivity. Join the Digger Dan Facebook group. Here is a link to my settings, which work very well in most areas 👍
