- Honey Lemon Soda is coming to Crunchyroll January 2025!
In order to change herself, she enrolled in Hachimitsu High School, known for its culture of student liberty. Seated in at the desk next to her in the same class is Kai Miura, a coolly freewheeling boy with lemon-colored hair. In truth, Uka met Kai once in middle school, and decided to attend Hachimitsu based on a single word he said to her.To Uka, the popular Kai is a distant presence.
Yet somehow, Kai starts to look after Uka. With Kai encouraging her, Uka gradually begins to fit in with her classmates…
But...Uka’s world is gradually changing with Kai’s presence. ---

Shoujo mangas from 2000-2016 are the best in my opinion because the relationships between the characters are more real and you can really feel them when you read them

@@decristal48its not toxic at all, the girl has social anxiety and low self esteem, the boy helps her with her bullies but also pushes her so she can build her self esteem and not just rely on him, but he always has her back in case something goes wrong.

Wow it's happening, I hope no one gets discouraged by the trailer. I don't know how it'll be done but the story is good. I got second hand embarrassment at times but only because it felt so real how much she struggled. It's also inspiring and wholesome.

It’s actually really good. There is this remedy that requires lemon, honey, and ginger. It helps with sore throats or colds.
How could it be vile? Lemon and honey go together...always. lemon and honey in tea, cold medicine, cooking food. (Honey lemon chicken, honey lemon salmon, honey and lemon glazed carrot, etc etc)

I remember reading this when I was much younger. The main female lead was a lot more emotionless though, but Im glad that it is being animated.

@@j-jay8866it’s not toxic!!! they grow together. they really balance each other out and help each other grow. it’s harder to notice in the male lead but if you pay close attention to him (and if they do him right) then you’ll see his growth as a person because of our cute and stubborn female lead
