funny how he hates that d-low holds the mic in his hand just he can seem to be at least a little critical as a music producer because there is actually nothing to complain about that performance :D
I understand that as a sound engineer it make your hair stand up when people use a mic "incorrectly". But have you considered it may be a deliberate thing because the artists uses it to control his sound input in a particular/personal way based in their experience?
Don't get me wrong, he probably had his reasons why he used this mic instead of his sm7b or any handheld dynamic mic. It's just an ocd thing of mine that I can't hold back 😅

It’s for certain sounds, because of textures you know for effect. If you are a producer you should know that.
