I’m going on a trip and I wanted to be making music but I only got a desktop. I recently found out that you can make music on a steam deck and so well se how that goes. Wish I had an mpc to through in my bag cause it’s one cool peace of kit
reason was way ahead in some ways but also way behind in others. Its weird i have a love/hate relationship with it. My main DAW is Cubase Pro 13 but I use Reason as a plugin for the creative juices to flow for that very reason because I'm used to it. If only someone made an SSL Reason Mixer Hardware Controller... that would be SICK.
Arrange view is not practical on small screens that is why Roland had a DV out on the MV8800 to hook up a PC monitor. Since Akai is going the Abelton/Logic daw style I minus well continue to use Abelton since its way ahead of Akai at the moment. The MPC is no longer an MPC with this update in my opinion.
So, in your opinion, what do they do. Double down and give it a HDMI out on a new series of models that people would complain about buying, or do they say "let's scrap the concept of a visual UI, and keep MPC as a studio accessory rather than centerpiece" Like to me this is just the logical next step before we get a whole new line of MPC'S
@Cody404_ imo HDMI is next, and it has to be. What they decide to do next or not, I have no opinion on it. I just know the direction they are going is the DAW route, and to me its no longer an MPC, and I minus will continue to use Ableton if you think about it.
@@qmakesbeatz The a/d converter is a must and The capacitors and good source material.. The mpc live and X are cool I just think it sounds more like an audio interface. someting is going on with those machines.....Akai/Air released a softclipper.Need I say more?.Come on you know why they did that
9:38 yea. I know j freshman bout to eat eat.😂😂😂

Aye, the best tools are the ones you got! Haven't heard about anyone doing music with a steam deck yet though, that sounds wild!
This is gonna be so dope!
@3:49 does it effect the sound of the track depending on how plugins are ordered ? I've never noticed if it does or not
absolutely my brotha
Man you off the chain 😂😂😂😂.. but yeah that jawn too cute
Odd. Reason already had these features. So it’s like Mpc caught up with reason but they have hardware. Love reason so I like this

Interesting take. We'll see how it pans out.

Roland fantom G had a full arrangement view similar to this on an 8 inch screen and it worked just fine with out hdmi or vga out.

BS The real MPC's died in 2001. That's like saying you have a Dodge Charger but,its really an Avenger!
Which key features and components make an MPC an MPC in your opinion?
A good analog output stage that make the drums sound punchy.

@@larrytan73 Gotcha, I don't have experience with the older units but have heard that they sound better.
@@qmakesbeatz Cool! If you have the modern MPC they are cool! I just couldn't take the sound! They always sound half velocity
