  • Marsh Fritillary Butterflies, Chequered Skipper Butterflies, Black Grouse and Corncrake all depend on traditional farming practices in the West of Scotland. This set of videos provides information for farmers and land managers to help identify, protect and increase suitable habitat for these National Priority Species. The videos contain footage of each species with some top tips on their management.
    Scotland’s Farm Advisory Service (FAS) is part of the Scottish Rural Development Programme (SRDP) which is co-funded by the EU and Scottish Government, providing information and resources aimed at increasing the profitability and sustainability of farms and crofts.
