Hi. I’m a new subbie. You are incredible. Thanks so much for being a great teacher and sharing with all of us. I look forward to more classes.👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊💥💥💥🏆🏆🏆
Welcome back sir.. Very happy to see you after a long time... Just love your tutorials... Thanku so much sir.. Love from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳 I call you "King of popups"
Great tutorial, Duncan! I will try to create a slider effect in something! I have used some of your techniques to make a custom journal for a swap and I enjoyed the way the items turned out. I made a pop up gingerbread house! I wonder if you could do a pop up sphere that spins. I am trying to work out how to get a spinning globe effect, but I don't get how they engineer the spinning with the rubber bands. If you've done it before and can upload a video - that would be awesome.
There is a sphere that almost spins in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Robert Sabuda - it's a difficult mechanism - I may explain it in a future tutorial.
To make it all work from one strip we will join all of the strips with a piece right? Or is there a way in which only one strip is present and the rest is done by hubs and pivots?
In the example shown in the video - the pull-strip moves one small vertical piece which is hidden behind the v-Fold - the arm/head piece is connected to the vertical moving piece by a hub - the body of the figure is connected to the arm piece by another hub - the other end of the body is connected to the V-Fold by another hub.
Hello , First I would like to say Thank you so much for teaching how to make all these different pop ups Thank you 😊 Also I would like to know are all these pop-ups you show ,are they in one book or you have to buy more then one book ?
The pop-ups I show are from lots of different books - I show the books they're in in the tutorials. The names of the books are listed at the end of each tutorial.
I do occassional workshops - but they're on request - I do the teaching but I don't organise the venue, participants etc - so if you'd like to organise one!.....

What glue do you use?
I use UHU, I prefer solvent based glues as they dry more quickly than water based ones. But really, any glue will work. (See Tutorial 1).
👏👏👍❤️
Im in italy.napoli.where i can buy your book?

is there a mechanism where you pull the string and the paper plane goes upwards if so the pls do a vid on it
I don't know about pulling string.....maybe tutorial 26 would come near to what you're looking for.
@@thepop-upchannel4919 yea it kinda does but i am talking about the plane moving toward the sky direction
You could build a Parallelogram (tutorial 5) onto the flap and then put the plane on top.
@@thepop-upchannel4919 thanks really helped can't wait for more content
