    Great video Soi! The 29 went OPO on 5/11/88. Considering here it’s goes from Enfield to Victoria… it only operates now between Trafalgar Square and Wood Green!

      Generally worked in overlapping sections though - Enfield to Mornington Cresent (hence the destinations on the vehicles in the video) and Wood Green to Victoria. It was a rare working that went all the way through.

    Nice selection of old London buses when London became a hotspot for iconic red buses. I don’t think I have been to Enfield before.

    Route 29 was shared by 3 garages at peak, WN AD HT

      Yes, several routes back in the 80s & beyond had multiple garages... I think the 12's had 5... TC, ED, PM, WL & S.....

    Grand 80s "handage" as usual.
    Some MCWs were only three years old then, it was great to see them too plying 88 London.

    Enfield lost its last Routemasters on the 149, then the 279 and then the 29 in the late 1980s. Shame, but progress I suppose.
