Was just "giving it a go" last night, then it was morning, and I was lvl 12 and the AR57 was lvl 14.
I had to spit a few bucks in the pot ofc, I mean, the game is free, so I can deal with a bit of mtx, so I also have a SCAR and a MK46 which I also leveld a bit.
Kinda diggin` it so far, not sure how many hours I played, but I know I got hungry twice lol

FOV was likely max and my mouse settings were 1250Dpi and around 10 ingame
Muzzle and compensator are useless. Dont use them. Datamining showed, they practically make no difference.
it depends heavily on the actual gun, you will notice a difference if using them but it varies heavily on the individual weapon.
I'd rather grind it out, this seems boring and repetitive to do for all guns. I use the silencer as my reason to use every gun. Makes things fun. I guess for those that aren't great at FPS games on PC would benefit from this method though.
Doesn't matter if you are great at FPS games, this method is vastly superior in efficiency to normal playing. Leveling up guns is dependable on how many kills you get. EMP mission takes around 2,5 minutes to get between 55-65 kills. It is repetitive as heck, but I guess that's the price for fast unlocking attachments.
mikhailPOL yeah I completely get that. The efficiency of it is clear as day to me, but it's a clear exploit of the game mode. I doubt it's intended to be in the game. It just feels like a cheat or cheap way out *to me*...
Like I said, I use the grind as a reason to actually try and use different guns. It also fulfils that sense of progression. But that's just me anyway, dunno about others.
I understand where you are coming from, that may be considered as an issue, but I think devs left it like that on purpose. From what I know they've already patched this mission in the past to prevent fast player level gain, but weapon leveling up mechanic was left untouched I guess. Oh well, maybe they'll change it in the future. BTW I just recalled your nick from game, you probably won't recognize me, I play as Parasprinter. Cya on servers

They patched this. The mission only gives around 150xp now.
