- Nowhere is safe in Gaza, and this is particularly true for sites of key civilian infrastructure like hospitals and schools. Since October, Israel has damaged or destroyed 80 percent of Gaza's schools and all its universities, decimating a core pillar of Palestinian society. In spite of this scholasticide, Palestinian educators and students remain committed to ensuring class remains in session. The Real News reports from Rafah, speaking directly with children and their teachers resisting genocide through education.

I was 14 when my Mom and Dad were killed on the same day in a war in Sierra Leone. There are no words to explain the physical and psychological pains of growing up an orphan and no body to look up to. Sometimes i locked myself up in room and cry cry cry, wipe my own tears and then come out and play with friends laughing. I didn't give up. Today I'm a police officer, a graduate with a honours degree from the university of Sierra Leone, a yoga teacher and a mindfulness for stress facilitator.
I wish to have the opportunity to go Palestine and share my story with these resilient heros and heroine. Sending peace, and light from Freetown Sierra Leone ❤

But what are children learning and that can be looked at world wide.. Men women and children learn war and where? In scools, Churches, media and at home sad to say because parents have been educated towards war also.
According to this channel and most channels like it, like Glenn Beck and Jimmy Dore, this isn't a war, it is genocide. Despite the reality, that if the people being "genocided" just surrendered, it would literally end.

Why doesn't Palestine and their Hamas leadership, you know, surrender? I've never ever heard of a "genocide" that could end, if the side being "genocided" would just surrender. But instead, insist on not surrendering, in order to complain about "genocide"... It's truly baffling.
1-Palestine is under 3 main leaderships, or rather rule: Israel, the PLO/PA in some areas in the west bank (cooperative with Israel), and Hamas in Gaza, the PLO surrendered and made compromises to Israel and yet the Palestinians are suffering ethnic cleansing from their own designated areas according to the UN, of course Hamas will see this and say "If we're gonna either ways, we'd rather not surrender"
2-Genocides happen whether the weakest side surrenders or not, the Jews didn't form a significant resistance organization back in Nazi Germany, most of them were minding their own business and yet they got ethnically cleansed by the Nazi regime, same goes with the Irish people when Britain literally killed them using famine, the Jews and Irish had special moments of resistance, but once again whether they resist or not, they'll be eradicated, blaming the victim is not a smart answer here
3-Back in 1948, the Deir Yassin village had a peace deal with the terrorist Zionist militia "the Haganah" (which would be soon the IDF along with the Lehi and Irgun), and the village wasn't nearly strong enough to defend itself, and yet the residents there got massacred there
4-In the Oslo records, the PLO (Palestinian liberation organization) agreed to have peace and recognize Israel, and also letting it controlling vast areas within the west bank and Gaza (Area A is under Israel control under the ministry of defense, Area B is under both parties, and C is under the Palestinian authority control) plus, the PA helps Israel to catch any Hamas or any other resistance movement member, and yet Israel kept on its genocidal and apartheid acts
4-the sheer ignorance is more baffling
Do you believe the Israelis who have committed crimes against the Palestinians should surrender? Do you believe the Palestinians have the right to kill Israeli civilians until that happens?

Exactly, genocides happen whether one side surrenders or not, yet, Hamas is an active combatant military force. Equating that to the Jews in 1939, and claiming they should both be described by the same word, is extremely manipulative and misleading. To add to the difference, the Jews did nothing to instigate any sort of violence in the 1930s, while Hamas' entire purpose is to escalate tensions...
If Hamas surrendered, the war would end, meaning it isn't actually a "genocide", as far as laymen colloquial usage of the term is understood to be in the common zeitgeist.
I hope you're being earnest, but I don't understand watching a video about how women and children are suffering and then blaming them for not surrendering. Even in the world where surrender is an option for them, somehow, why would the women and children be the ones making that decision?
If you think woman and children being killed and dislocated is awful it makes a lot more sense to blame their murderers.
What's truly baffling is your warped, deranged logic... Which sanatorium did they let you out from??
