Yes, that’s normally a pretty good indicator. No harm in testing it though, might save a few quid.

What is the range of both tests?
@200 Ohms for primary and @20k for secondary.,
8.89 good or bad? How to test ignition condenser via multimeter?
If that’s the secondary @20k, that sounds OK. You could maybe do a continuity test on the condenser?
