For those who think strawberry legs are kp...it's not just that. Kp is when you have those raised little bumps on your legs or arms, but strawberry legs is also when you have dark colored dots on your legs that are smooth and not raised. Those smooth dark colored strawberry dots on your legs are from clogged enlarged pores. I know I have them, and they are super smooth.

Sorry, that's absolutely not strawberry skin. Strawberry skin or chicken skin is from skin conditions called Keratosis Pilaris or Folliculitis. Just having stubbly hair doesnt mean you have strawberry skin. With both KP and folliculitis there is redness from inflammed skin and a lot of texture. Taking hot baths or showers will dry out the skin, aggravating both conditions. While exfoliation and moisturizing help with both conditions, with folliculitis you have to use medicated moisturizer. One should also avoid scented or dyed products on the skin to avoid further irritation. Shaving against the grain of hair growth will also aggrivate the skin. I have dealt with KP my whole life and into adulthood, so I'm quite familiar with "strawberry skin" which isn't even a condition, its simply a description of the appearance of the aforementioned skin conditions. Please stop with disingenuous marketing.
yes, and after your wax like me, after a week I get this red itchy bumps that wake me up at night and I get crazy ! only thing that helped was disinfect with apple cider vinegar or klorhexidin before, or any spa disinfectant, then exfoliate, then wax, then disinfect again and apply aloe vera than cream with no perfume. It works abit but if u stop disinfecting first couple of days for me it ends up with itchy nights and paranoia

@@Mirpeace93 The double ended one from Philips is great. There are cheaper ones that do the trick too, under $25, but you can't put as much pressure over the skin with them.
You should apply antiseptic solution or spirit or alum post shaving. This prevents cuts from infecting and even ingrown hairs to certain level. Later you can moisturise but definitely right after shaving.
Sometimes a person enjoys the result, but gets tired of the process. It's like cleaning of home. A person may not want to clean, but over time they will feel bad in mess. For many, it’s the same with the body. Sometimes it's really "for yourself" and not for society

Thanks so much for the super helpful info, this really helps me 😊❤🎉 And for people who think shaving constantly is too much effort but would still like smooth legs: mix some moisturizing cream with curcumim, apply on you legs and let it sit for a few minutes before shaving (it has to be before, because if you do it after, your skin might get irritated). If you keep doing this, you'll notice that with time your hairs will take longer to grow back and will be thinner. Only thing is that it's a bit messy, so have a couple towels just for this (they will stain). To clean it off your skin, use a small cloth with towel texture (the good is that this also helps exfoliating), and then shave.

Good. Although, over the years women have managed to have some flexibility of choosing to not shave and prioritize their own comfort, it's still looked as unkempt and ugly to have body hair. It's so funny because I've seen my mother and aunts having to face ridicule from other women about their body hair all their life when in Islam, it's emphasized to let women thrive in their natural features. That natural beauty is not something to alter as per whatever the newest trend patriarchal society has in for feeding off of women's insecurities. It's sad to see these beautiful women getting all sorts of surgeries to look like the copy paste trendy look, saying that it's what makes her happy. But the unhappiness of your natural face and body would not exist in the first place if society had not put in extreme ideas of beauty in the first place
morrocans have been doin this for ages, but yeah: just wet your skin and scrub with that glove and all those ingrowns and black spots are gone. Please dont shave after, use nair cream. You come out so soft. Also put body oil (almond oil) WHILE YOUR SKIN IS STILL WET! Trust me, it works better. And THEN towel dry. And of course perfume yourself
Girl you do not know how much I needed this! I have PCOS which makes hair growth, especially on my legs, a nightmare to deal with. I've even considered not shaving my legs because every time I do I get the worst ingrown hairs and multiple hairs growing back instead of just one (Like it was 1 hair before but after shaving 3 grew back). I've been trying to figure out what isn't working without spending too much cause I'm in college with a part time job so I have a tight budget. Having a video explaining what to avoid and what is best is very helpful. Thank you ❤ Also question. I have an electric razor with one blade, would that be okay to use or would that cause it's own issues?
You can still do it just wet yourself throughly with the warmed up water and then wait for it to almost air dry but still a little moist it will prolly be like 5 mins max and then run your finger over there should be dead skin cells and use your exfoliator 😉 👍 let me know if it worked
my grandmother told me to avoid shaving my legs when I was a teenager, she said that later they would fall out or fade away on their own. She was right. 😮 as a teenager I shaved my legs, sometimes when I went to university I only shaved them when there was an important event, swimming pool, etc. As of today, the last time I shaved my legs was two years ago. I'm lucky that I'm also a blonde, so my hair is lighter, almost transparent, but my grandmother told me that shaving the hair on my legs too often causes them to grow darker, so it's worth avoiding shaving your legs when you're a teenager, so that later you can enjoy less of them and a paler color. I'm 25 years old and I confirm this theory :)

I'm sorry but the whole "it'll grow back darker" is a myth and rumor that tried leading people to not shave, my grandma tried telling me the same thing but it is proven to be not true and just a myth. I've shaved since I hit puberty and my hair has never grown back "DArker" So please don't believe these myths, even if you are a blondie, blondes don't need the requirement to shave but us brunettes, and other colored need to shave, it's nesscesary unless you want to get harassed and embarrassed.

its because the person in the video doesn’t have strawberry legs, they’ve misunderstood what it is. KP is a skin condition (or a skin variant) where your body grows more skin cells than necessary over your hair follicles, trapping the hairs inside and forming bumps. there is no cure all for it, if you do find a (usually tedious) routine that works you have to keep up with it 24/7. acceptance of it might just be the way to go tbh.
I bought and IPL device from Amazon and didn’t think it will work but after 5-6 weeks I got rid of most of the hair (I’m a brunette and used to shave legs every 3 days, actually the leg hair started growing same evening and smooth skin lasted less than 24 hours). I do my whole body with it. Armpits and legs so far had best results. My bikini area is stubborn but I’ll try further because I can see the device is working 🎉

Just do waxing instead..It's better than shaving because u wouldn't get hair for weeks and it will pull out your hair perfectly..Shaving causes Folliculitis, cuts, ingrown hair, bumps etc..Waxing might hurt you but it's worth it
Not for everyone! For me waxing or plucking lasts for like a week and creates bumps/cysts and really irritates my skin! For many people shaving is way better.

Omg, you dividing this video into 3 sections reminded of this, lol. The sephirot divide themselves to 3 layers: upper, middle, and lower. Which fits that the Cantos could be also divided into 3 main themes. 4-6 (Yisang, Ishmael, Heatcliff) are obviously about obsession and if you stretch it a bit you can include 1-3. Ex: Rodion who is obssesive about being special. 7-11 (Don, Hong lu, Ryoshu, Outis, Meursault) all have family as a main point in it. 12-13 (Dante and Faust) are probably about the cost of higher power. With Hubert (T CEO) telling Dante that no power comes free. And Faust starting to doubt Gestalt. Personally, I don't think the sinners are meant to parallel the sephirot but the associations for whatever reason. As all the twelve associations fits the sinners exception being Outis, who probably will fit after Iori launches the 13th association and it being greek.
Also, exfoliate your skin after shaving. Cause sometimes dead skin cells get into the (now )empty pores and blocks it causing ingrown hair which is quite painful. So basically double exfoliation is important. One before shaving and one after.

@@_FaithHopeLOVEsame for you, honestly. It's literally the stupidest thing ever and y'all try to shove it Dow people's throats like it's just the natural conclusion to human evolution. Chill.
Nah her skin looks it overproduces
yes, and after your wax like me, after a week I get this red itchy bumps that wake me up at night and I get crazy ! only thing that helped was disinfect with apple cider vinegar or klorhexidin before, or any spa disinfectant, then exfoliate, then wax, then disinfect again and apply aloe vera than cream with no perfume. It works abit but if u stop disinfecting first couple of days for me it ends up with itchy nights and paranoia
I am struggling with KP too
So what’s your routine for make your skin smoother
girl i got that that too but like…. she didn’t come up with this term it’s been used to call legs like that for ages because it looks like a 🍓 with seeds
yesss and even after wax, the new growing hairs gets curled and trapped forming bumps, and I have to scratch and exfoliate to free them.
I just switched to electric trimmers for the legs. Life changing. Zero pain, zero ingrowns, so easy.
Could you reccamend one from amazon maybe? Does it make your legs smooth like a shave?
@@Mirpeace93 The double ended one from Philips is great. There are cheaper ones that do the trick too, under $25, but you can't put as much pressure over the skin with them.
Anything to be glazed ✨🍩✨😀😀😀 I approve this routine. More than 1 razor is a pain for skin. This gives better shave, shine & less irritation
You should apply antiseptic solution or spirit or alum post shaving. This prevents cuts from infecting and even ingrown hairs to certain level. Later you can moisturise but definitely right after shaving.

Really helpful today. But as a reminder: for those who don't want to make the effort, not shaving at all is also a possible solution.
Sometimes a person enjoys the result, but gets tired of the process. It's like cleaning of home. A person may not want to clean, but over time they will feel bad in mess. For many, it’s the same with the body. Sometimes it's really "for yourself" and not for society
@@emilsinclair1781it may be for yourself, but it’s because of society.
@@P3rrineLover That's why I said "sometimes". But I just don’t like that now everything is divided into black and white.
@@emilsinclair1781 I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. Whether you remove body hair for yourself or for someone else, the sole cause of you removing it, is because you were conditioned to (as a woman) by society. And for people who think shaving constantly is too much effort but would still like smooth legs: mix some moisturizing cream with curcumim, apply on you legs and let it sit for a few minutes before shaving (it has to be before, because if you do it after, your skin might get irritated).
Reminder for everyone watching: You do not *need* this. You are beautiful, no matter what way you choose to present. The only way you'd every be ugly, is by labeling someone else as so.
You should still exfoliate dead skin off your body. Just in general for hygiene and skin health

my grandmother told me to avoid shaving my legs when I was a teenager, she said that later they would fall out or fade away on their own. I'm 25 years old and I confirm this theory :)

its because the person in the video doesn’t have strawberry legs, they’ve misunderstood what it is.

My razor didnt cut, at all, no matter how many videos we watched or how we tried to angle it and put the blade in. Help please!
I literally have the same problem, thought it was just me, lol
Have u put the blade in it?
Yeah ofc!! I think I put the top bit on upside down though
@audreymurphy3945 try flipping the bit you screw back on around a bit 😊
Do u shave ur hairs in the direction of hair growth or opposite
Opposite direction.
Guys unpopular opinion I do it with a eye brow plucker/twizer . I know its not digestive. I bought ot for brows then just for fun started plucking my leg hair And I kept doing it , initially it was just for fun but i noticed its working and next time they grow up i did the same I won't lie it take time but you can do it as like a meditation sir in the sun before scrubbing your legs then keep your phone away and start its really satisfying and the best lart is my growth reduced and it is actually make sense cus like lazor treatment it also making you roots weak by extracting the hair right from the root and when you keep on doing it regularly you pore gets smaller growth reduces and hair comes even more fine next time, it was all accidental and i am more than happy cuz i know the pain same problem with hands but i have not done it on hands. Hair on hands are different like they are not thick like leg hair they smoth still long, makes it a little hard to pick a hair pull it off . Buy a twizer girls invest in a good one cuz it not gonna go vacant like your wax box or it not gonna go useless after 2 uses like your razors . I have one which I bought of rs. 182 from gibb brand . I don't know its gibb gibbu but u can check the best one cuz its a life time investment just like a period cup that u need 3 or 4 in you whole life for periods. Please tell me the results when you realise it's no more a problem in your life. I'll be happy to hear
What if you opt waxing? Can i replace waxing with shaving, following this routine?
Yes, and thats a better option but it has two flaws, one , its a bit painful and two, you need more time to do it or get it done at a salon hence, the shaving for emergency dates.👀
@@nocturnal2673 oh, but exfoliating and stuff before waxing okay?
I don't shave my legs very often but when I do I've always used single blade razors, it's just the cleanest/closest cut. But definitely use a shaving butter/wax/oil, don't just use water or do it dry.
Should i do the shaving routinr after body wash or before can u let me know ,,and do u guys ship to india ❤❤❤❤
they ship worldwide!
Do this routine before body wash so no soap can get in the way when you exfoliate since the glove relies on friction with your skin! And yes we ship there 🥰

She's a good candidate for IPL hair removal device :) dark hair, fair skin, it can help with kp, and it WILL completely fix dark hairs peeking through the translucent skin.
You can still use the oil they're selling.
Not me seeing some hair when she added the oilllll
i was lookin for this comment
But wouldn't shaving like this affect the hair? I think it will grow quickly and abundantly after this.. I do not like removing hair a lot because I fear that it will grow abundantly and quickly, especially since I suffer from excess hair all over my body and its color is black.. What is the solution in this case, girls? 😢💔

@@dewyhours I LOVED IT🥹
The glove is AMAZING!!! I love mine, I can finally get both arms to peel successfully with little pressure with the glove! Hello smooth skin summer!!!
Shaving *is* exfoliating. There's no need to do it before.
Is there any way I don't have to use a one blade razor? I tried but it did not work for me
I didn't get this type but I got a type similar to this but I'm afraid of hurting myself by accident
@@Melissa-gv7fe Is it a one blade?
Be careful! Maybe if you have a sister you could ask for help, or your mom :)
@@gabby4.2.23 I am the big sister. I do not have a mother, but I have experience. I have used many types of blades, and these blades are bad. One blade causes a big wound. I suffered from strawberry skin and got rid of it. Do you want to know how I got rid of it? I can tell you that recently these videos have been appearing. One blade
@@gabby4.2.23 I'm afraid there are young girls watching these videos and they might buy them even if they are expensive
