From the little you can hear in the background I can immediately hear that the Ludwigs by far sound the best under his sticks over his past brands. I am not a DW guy at all I hated my set if them and SQ’s sound beautiful yet sounded to dead for me when he played them and these Lud’s sound beautiful with punch but actual sustain and warmth and life to the sound!
Aron Spears is one of the greatest and I fell he never match with Sonor. I don't know which brand my next 20 inch bass drum will be…My dream is a 20/12/15 kit….Ludwig makes 15 floor and all my heroes play Ludwig. Oh god!

Thank goodness Ludwig is finally trying to modernize their approach. Not everyone wants to be john bohnam or play for The Beach Boys! Even though i respect and like bohnam.

It’s really what company that can be behind and artist. Sometimes you are happy with an endorsement and sometimes you aren’t. There is a lot of things that go one behind the scenes that we don’t know about. Maybe his ear is changing and Sonor wasn’t it anymore.

I love this guying playing ability.... but... I would never support or purchase anything made by Ludwig. They screwed me years ago. And I told them... that my Ludwig set that I was playing at the time... would be sold immediately... and replaced by Sonor... and I will never purchase another Ludwig item ever again... which I think it took less than two weeks to accomplish.
