Kenny Lucas Fifteen years later and scoring is still an issue. When Monster Jam used professional judges, it was a step in the right direction. Then, for an unknown reason, they discontinued said judges and returned to fans scoring runs.
They used a Patrick chassis when they did their first tour of Europe. From what I read, it was used because of an easy swap of parts between the trucks. That year all the trucks, with the exception of Grave Digger, were all Patrick chassis. Now, they're able to ship Tom's real Max D truck over there to perform.
You are half right. They did use a Patrick Chassis for Max D., but it was only when they first traveled to Europe since they could easily fix parts on the truck being a common chassis among the trucks. I think this was the only time I remember seeing a Max D body on a Patrick Chassis in the U.S.
@@ericg3365 Patrick Enterprises, Inc. They were the most common chassis builder at that time, and still are one of the most popular. Most of the "company" trucks at that time were Patrick chassis.
I'm agreeing here, it wasn't the TMNT chassis. I'm not exactly sure what chassis they used to make a second Max D, but it definitely wasn't the Turtle. They definitely didn't do a good job bolting the body down.
Im pretty sure the patrick max d was on the old spiderman chassis/demolition man..look at the red beadlocks, spiderman and demo. man ran the reds. plus the chassis looks like it too.
What I mean is on the Europe tour, the only truck that was not using a Patrick Chassis was Grave Digger. Charlie Paukens was running the #7 truck that year in Europe. It was weird seeing a Tom Meents truck on a Patrick chassis because Tom has said he prefers the conventional steering, front engine truck.
0:14 one hell of a manly call.
We need more encores like this
I was at this World Finals and I can still remember a lot of the Wildest Moments from it, despite the fact that I was only 6 at the time...
Rest in peace tony Ferrell
Loved it when dennis called out the judges, the scoring for this world finals was crap

What’s a Patrick chassis

idk, but it was driven by George Balhan I think.
Cool video

This encore introduced me to George Balhan, and judging by his helmet, he didn't have his signature mohawk.
In 2000 and 2001 some events had 2 trucks freestyle at a time
they should do team freestyle contests, just like this 2 at a time and get judged out of 60. imo that would be awesome
Dang that course was worn away. This was cool. I feel sorry for the janitor who has to clean up that pile of crap. Awesome!!!
Wow denis u have blue eyes ?

I love Ken Stout
What chassis was the Blue Thunder without the flags on?
9 years late but I'm pretty certain it's the same chassis Lyle drove in WF3
I might be going to World Finals 12, just don't know at the moment. To bad Charlie flip over early.
Is USHRA still a thing?
what chassis was neil elliots max d?
I believe you mean "Granted, I'm not a big fan..." Granite is a rock
always wanted to see this thanks
