  • Talking about living with Osteoarthritis, Sjogrens Syndrome, SLE Lupus, Vasculitis and how to manage autoimmune diseases through diet. I'm also chatting about using pesticides on your fruit and vegetables and the possible effects these have on your health. Clean living and what I do to try and stay on track to a healthy life.
Also a look at my tomato leaf curl in the greenhouse and what I'm doing to try and remedy it.

Thank you for this video. It's made me stop and think about some of the things I use in my tiny back garden where I grow some veggies as well as flowers. Thank you for telling us your name Linda. It's nice to know you.

I am with you entirely on the pesticide issue! I am anti pesticides and my veg patch is organic too. I cover my veg with mesh to keep the butterflies off and dont plant out my veg until they are quite large and the slugs dont like them so much and even if they have a bit of a nibble they wont kill the plants.

7ve had the same problem with leaf curl. It seems to be affecting beef a d yellow and Bush Tom's. Indeterminate Cherry Tom's are fine. I enjoyed your chat, I think you're an inspiration ❤

All my family have autoimmune problems from my sister having lupus and I have loads of allergies my daughter has thyroid issues and my partner has diabetes kidney disease and heart failure, I have only been with him for three years and he never addressed the problems before they became a life shortening life so I agree with you

Hi Linda, I have leaf curl on my tomatos, started early this year, I was putting it down to the extremes in temperature, one day it 20° and next 11°, never though it could be direct sunlight, I have no shade. I never use any chemicals on plants. Agree with what you said. You ever watch Anthony William, Medical Medium, I have found him helpful, healing through food.

Great content. I am trying to start to grow my own veg and fruit to get away from all the pesticides as well as they are so expensive in the grocery stores. It is very expensive to eat healthy.

Hi Linda I'm new to your channel and have just subscribed, I got here because I was looking for tomato leaf curl as I have got it too this year, I'm organic too, I don't use any pesticides, but just one question, you said you had osteo arthritis, so have I but I get terrible pain and joint stiffness, what do you use to control your pain, I have been drinking pineapple juice, as it contains bromelain, which is a natural pain killer and anti inflamatory, it helps a bit, and I also use CBD oil, without the THC'S which are what get you high, it really does help, but on the whole I grow my own salad veg, and anything I don't grow I try to buy organic, I have foxes, hedgehogs and frogs in the garden which I think is a good sign, I enjoyed your video and look forward to more xxx

My tomatoes have that too Linda 😢 first time ever. Year of firsts here 🤦‍♀️ and not all good ones. Odd my tomatoes are all outside and only some have it no rhyme or reason. I hope you both are doing well and it’s good to let it all out sometimes ❤, Ali 🌞🥵🇨🇦

Awe Linda Hello I’m Sandra. I loved this video as I can relate on so many levels,Health (OA, Fibro, CFS etc.,) This is my first year growing Veg & flowers from seed in my garden, no slug pellets, (take them to the park, they like the park! 🐌🛝😉😂) no pesticides. No Cigs, no booze & not so many drugs (exception thyroid & pain killers) To be honest at first it was to get me off the sofa (watching you lot on RUclips is addictive 😂) plus there are often days I can’t get out so I thought to have something on hand will be handy but Omgoodness I’m totally loving it..Not had an huge amount but only home grown should be called “Taste the difference “ it taste like food I ate as a child honestly! Im 64 absolutely love veg & cooking from scratch but hadn’t thought about the pesticide connection or how long I rinse it..this also made me think about my Mum soaking the veg in a sink of cold salted water (fed 10 of us everyday 🙆‍♀)
I’ve always said there’s only one thing worse than living in constant pain … that’s hearing someone else is too! 🥺🫂 A massive thank you for sharing & inspiring us with your hard work & humour (laughed out loud more than once 😉😂 &❤to your daughter. I’d like to know more about the bread you use too 😉
