Another great update Lynda. The beetroot looked great. Do you pickle your own beetroot or how do you use it? I think the cat definitely looks like a boy, so what about Alan .... Alan of the allotment?? Catch up with you next time.
I think the cat looks like a "Tash" as he seems to have a bit of a moustache going there - or perhaps Checkers, Domino or Bandit? He looks like a lovely cat - a good mouser around the plot for sure. Gorgeous looking beetroot - I like mine a bit smaller as well, especially if I'm roasting them. Everything is looking really good!
Great update Lynda I hope the storms have all finished now. My sunflowers well the large ones are done I think, but the teddy bears are still looking fab. Hope you have a super week and enjoy some sunshine, a I 🌦️🇨🇦
So that is why I always like to wait until after the first frost before I have sprouts on my plate !! Still learning.😋
Hi Lynda, what sweetcorn variety are you growing ?I like the idea of autumn sweetcorn 👍 also did you make your arches or buy them I am thinking of some arches on my plot next season 👍👍
@@GanggangPeanut hi, the variety is Glasscorn and is an Autumn cropper and my arches are the metal cheap ones you put together yourself. They're not very strong but they do the job. 😊
@@LyndasSeasideKitchenGarden thanks Lynda I will look for some for next year 👍👍
I would call your new friend Katelo Nero 🐈⬛️ 😊
Aw, Trevor has a little jacket on 😁 How about Ska cat for your little two tone visitor 🙂
hi there,,,, great English garden,,,,, storm damage it's a bummer i get monsoon here in Arizona floods torrential rain but you cope gud on ya babe love your channel Ed
Tuxedo, he looks as if he's wearing a tux, I've only got one pumpkin and same I pollinated it myself.😂
Hurbet maybe a girl 😂
Maybe a boy I ment
The weather is definitely chilly 🫤not ready for winter! Well done on your harvests, brilliant
👍👍👍
I think I’m the only one in the world who dislikes sunflowers I think there ugly great lumps ---I know I’m a terrible gardener iv never been tempted to grow them But I was interested in your seeds from them
Awesome! I'm going to plant some sunflowers I think, but mine will be mini ones. How do you get the hard bits off the outside of the sunflower seeds - is there a method to do that so you can eat them? You really make the most of your space to maximise your crops - inspirational :)
Lovely catch up of your garden Lynda. My tomatoes are still quite small and very very green. I think they have struggled really all season. Think it may be a case of green tomato chutney (any receipies for that??!!). Look forward to seeing you on the allotment.
I love sunflowers summer is not summer without them 🌻 🌻 is it .👍
Your cucumber did amazing Lynda I got a few but no where near as many. My peppers weee pants and my tomatoes well the big ones are still not totally ripe 🤦♀️ but nana wrapped them in newspaper so I’ll do that too. Great update Lynda and fab advice as always, Ali 🇨🇦
How do I grow these from seeds, please ? Do they have to go from black to red before you sow the seeds 🤔?
@@S_M_20117 Just remove the seeds from a chilli pepper, dry them on tissue in a warm place. Then plant in warm temperatures. These are a warm weather plant. This variety is called Chenzo. You can buy the seeds online.
@@LyndasSeasideKitchenGarden thanks for ur prompt reply ❤️My friend gave me a chenzo variety chilly to try. I want to use it to grow a plant instead :) Thanks for the suggestion 😊
You give us all so much good information. 🩷🩵💜💛💚🧡
I've has problems with my tomatoes ripening too. Still loving your channel ❤
Save me a slice, please.
Enjoy watching all your videos Lynda love your down to earth attitude (excuse the pun) Looking forward to watching many more videos
Lucky you with warm and dry weather! 4 days of cold, VERY wet weather here!
Oh I love a good doo da vlog 🤭🤭. Ahh fall my favourite time of year, cooler but sunny and plans for the future. I have lots of new daf varieties to plant too I gave up with tulips the squirrels kept eating them 😮. Great update Lynda and always fun, have a super week, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Absolutely one of my favourite vloggers Lynda, keep up the good work inspiring others ❤
You're adorable!! You truly seem like a fun person I could be friends with. Not remotely tired of your face yet 🤣
That’s a lot of beans. 😂 great vlog
Really enjoying your videos Lynda. I am finding it all very inspiring and one of the best things about your videos is by following you it's like a diary of what to do and when to do it, which I find really really helpful. So thanks very much and I'm hoping you have found more inspiration now to carry on with your channel. Have a lovely weekend.
Looking great, and I learn something every time I watch one of your videos Lynda. We've had the benefit of seeing our spring bulbs all starting to come up and flower here in NZ, so I'm so glad I planted mine last Autumn as you have done in your video. The salad cabbage plant looks like an interesting grow - going to google this and see if we can get them here. Thanks as always :)
Lovely vid Lynda. Good to see your work coming to fruition. We have all had a strange growing season - winners and losers. Spring bulbs now and looking forward. x
Your hair with the scarf bow is too darn cute. Love it so much.
Lynda you had a busy day 😂 autumn arrival is one of my favourite times ,and you have reminded me about planting bulbs for spring 👍👍 keep making your videos,as a RUclipsr I know it sometimes feels like no one subscribes but slowly slowly catchy monkey 👍👍
👍🌻
Hello Lynda, still watching and enjoying your videos of your allotment etc. Adore your laugh. Always brings a smile to my face. You are one genuine lady. Looking forward to the next one. I’ve ordered bulbs but they haven’t arrived yet.
❤ love all your videos Lynda xx😊
I just love your garden, hopefully mine will get there sometime. We live in different parts of the world, but growing just brings us together.
Just saying hi👋 for the algorithm happy gardening Richardx
Those pies looked very good indeed Lynda. Can't believe you are the only one in your house that likes apple pies!! Good update on the tomatoes as well. My leafs have died down now but the green toms are still growing. Think they will be on my kitchen window sill in a couple of weeks to go red. Had one day of sun in Stockport yestersday, so I think that's our quota here!! Best regards.
Yum yum!
So interesting to see the tomato pruning - I'm going to do that to mine this year, I didn't realise it helped the plants as they are beginning to fruit. As for the exploding apple pies - I'm absolutely loving your cooking style, it's realistic and down to earth cooking with delicious results and watching you cook is very encouraging for those reasons. Thanks for another excellent video Lynda :)
Hello from my homestead in northwest Florida USA, happy gardening!
My onions did so awful this year and only got a few potatoes ugg had a lot of tomatoes and cucumbers
👍👍👍
Great pruning job Lynda 👍 I have done mine to within an inch of their lives 😂 hoping they ripen up as mornings are getting quite chill. Awesome apple 🍏 pie 🥧 all I would need is ice cream 🍨. Have a super day Lynda thanks for sharing, Ali 🌞🇨🇦
Pies look nice exploding ones taste the same anyway 😂. I wish I’d done pies but my g kids moaned for crumble & I only got 7 apples from my tree so next time for me
Well done taming the tomato jungle 🍅😂 any chance you could send me one of those pies I’m feeling hungry now 😂😂👍
The polka dots are so precious~
Love the music Lynda! .. very relaxing. Really enjoying watching.. Ive just started growing vegetables myself, so exciting when it all works out right isn't it! Please give Trevor a stroke for me bless him!
👍👍👍
Hi Lynda. Me again! The weather is to blame for the sweetcorn. I have grown it for years and this year it is very stunted and normally I get at least 1 large cob off each plant, some even produce 2 cobs. This year not every plant has even produced 1 cob let alone 2, and the cobs themselves are very nice but only two thirds the size of normal ones. So no need to blame yourself! Too many weeds this year as well, arghhhh! Hard work! Best wishes x
