Its harder than the first one because Dan now stagger from damage/unable to move while sustaining damage, therefore his attacks animation got cancelled. The first Medievil's Dan didnt
I just love the soundtrack for the main menu. This game deserves a remake for consoles like Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, etc. Even though this was on playstation first. They added crash and spyro to xbox which I absolutely loved.
i have memories of when i was 5 yo of a a skull game that i would immediately stop playing after encountring the fat clown ladys xD for years i had that scary memories for years i finally found the game and it's bringing so many memories
I have nostalgia for a lot of games that I only played on a demo disc, i used to buy the gaming magazines, this was one of them where i replayed the hell out of the demo just the museum bit but never got the game :D
I didn't remember this game being so difficult but recently I played Medieval 1+2 back to back on an emulator and Medieval 2 was like dark souls difficulty vs 1. I mean, the spike is nuts.
OMG THIS GAME LITERLY MADE ME SHIT MYSELF AS A KID, here is some back story, I inherited my dad's ps1 and his whole collection of games at the age of 7 back in 2011 (he had over 100 games) and so I went through all the games just like testing all of them out and then came across this game I didn't play it because I was a little pussy, the front cover scared me, then 2 years later I decided to bring out the ps1 again, it was just on a shelf not doing anything, either way first game I took out of the pile was this game and let's just say that was the last time I played it
I do miss playing this game, sometimes. However, you guys should really be more careful with your recordings. This obviously had different playthroughs put in. It's especially bad at the final boss battle.
I loved both games. But it was painful watching this person play, made so many mistakes like forgetting to collect the life bottle that was a reward for smashing 8 imps at the freak show.
I don't know whether I hate or love the beginning. It's like they purposefully just said "Hey, it's the same old shit, go do your stuff". Self aware is fine and all but the beginning to the first game was so strong.
I feel like if the rest of the story was stronger it would've been alright. Yes it is kinda a "same shit different time" deal, but in a way it works. Of course Zarok's spell book ended up being found, of course someone would be nuts enough to try and use it, of course Dan would be awoken by it, given human nature and the Brits tendency to pinch shit they shouldn't, as a premise it's completely logical. Having Dan wake in a museum, which is likely to have other dead things like the dinosaurs and mummies, it opens the door to lots of cool ideas. But because Dan's already had his big character journey to become a true hero and palethorn isn't a personal or fleshed out villain, there's not much to make this feel as important, so the opening and the story as a whole does end up being a bit of a retread.
Pretty much, yeah. Personally, I found Winston really annoying and too....nice LoL I missed the sassy, crinkly Gargoyles telling me off and warning me all creepily at the same time.
