Don’t give my friend Greg any ideas 😂.
That was a sweet Dolby Pro Logic II tube preamp that he built and designed.

The Transcendent Sound kit, Son of the Beast, OTL employs (4) JJ Electronics, EL 509's with 15 Watts/channel into 8 Ohms. I own two of Bruce's amps. The 16 Tube, monobloc, 6C19PI output tube based, T-16's (low noise option, SN 95 db), AB topology, and the 1st iteration of the Mini Beast a (3) EL 509 tubes/channel, running SET OTL. The OTL's performance is very impedance dependent, best with 16 Ohm loudspeakers. But I've stopped looking for any other amplification.
