I consider Pete Sandoval and Steve Asheim (Deicide) to be the inventors of blast beats not sure if I am correct but they were the first i heard blasting like that and using super fast double bass, of course you hear guys like David Diepold and this sounds slow but that was back in the early 90s Diepold was probably a baby back then....
I agree! No doubt Diepold is a phenomenal drummer, but Pete and Steve are legends. Both of them managed to put these type of drum style in the Death Metal map. They are a big influence for me. Thanks for watching! 🤟🏻

I have the same Roland Drumkit. The Td11 and TD15 Drum modules look the same so I don’t know which module that is. The doublebass pedals I’m guess are Pearl because the beaters look like Pearl beaters. Great cover by the way. You really got the Kd9 bass drum to stay in place very well. Keep up the good work and Pete would be proud!
