- Niger, Mali and Burkina Faso have set up their own bloc, after leaving ecowas.
The three states have come together to form the alliance of Sahel States. Each is ruled by a military government - and that’s led to a split from the larger West African regional bloc, the economic community of West African states (ECOWAS).
The three military rulers have pledged to support each other against outside threats and internal security challenges, leaving ECOWAS on panic mode.

@gorillamaniamnotatrollimju8408 ECOWAS failed to perform and is now exposed and wounded. Betterment needs to be realized for the three dissenting states and its peoples, which may hasten the end of ECOWAS entirely.

The leader of Nigeria is a very dishonest person for not recognizing the security situations in Nigeria while trying to link insecurities in the subregion to the alliance of the Sahel states. It makes perfect sense. Russia is the one that signed memorandums of understanding to help build refineries that will allow for the processing and value addition to the energy, mineral and agricultural resources.
Russia is also the one that has offered their assistance and consultation with regards to the development of nuclear capabilities for energy and defense needs.
Russian boots on the ground is also of benefit in the expulsion of and defense against the Globalist and neocolonial entities that have kept those countries subjugated for decades.
They are a deterrent that adds another level of consideration with regards to attack or “ intervention” by the traitorous Afrikan neighbors, as well as an insurance that Francafrique policy in that region has been placed into the dustbin of history.
It is up to each of the respective countries on the continent to determine their own alliances and security needs. And as Russia has no history of slavery, subjugation, subversion, extortion, exploitation, colonialism or neocolonialism on the continent that folks can point to, there is yet to be a reason presented that would justify denial of their assistance.
The only folks worried are observers who can do nothing to obstruct the emancipation initiatives of the AEas.
If your country does not wish to deal with them that is their right. Afterall the continent consists of 54 respective and separate systems for a reason.
