Nice intervention. He may have to hit a wall but y'all keep chronicling this stuff so he can see for himself. And him saying he DGAF is a defense mechanism. He says it when he's wrong. And he says it when he cannot control an outcome, so he gives up and says "IDGAF." It's his loss, really. Things will not change for him until he gets some vocabulary to more authentically express his feelings and starts caring. They'll only get worse.

Well said! I do these things too but you explained me better than I can. When you can't explain how you feel or don't really know why you do what you do, you jump to IDGAF & fuck everybody. Accepting that you're the problem isn't the easiest pill to swallow so defenses are at an all time high when it's highlighted. Some of us are our own worst enemies but I believe with a loving and patient enough support system and God we can get better one day at a time. I personally appreciate your comment!

Grown-ups take care of their business and do their best to follow the rules. It hurts less, trust me. Ask for help if you need help. We've all had to go through it. Aye Dre I didn’t know how to drive til I was 22 I can relate just buy a regular car like a Malibu or something similar and practice driving it late at night on side streets . If you can ride a bike you can definitely drive a car. Its much easier once you get the feel of if.
