Sheelagh Meets Brin - Survivor of an Ischemic Stroke aged 47

Our weekly interviews with stroke survivors are designed to provide insight into how our community of stroke survivors are coping with the pandemic.
In this episode, Sheelagh meets with Brin. Brin had an Ischemic Stroke stroke in 2005 when he was 47 years old. They discuss stroke, recovery and the impact it had on his career. They also discuss how volunteering helped him to understand himself after stroke, his participation in 70+ stroke research projects and much more.
