Is it just me or does this sound very similar to the first movement of tchai 6th symphony. I mean i love that piece, and i love this one, but it just sounds soo similar both in its structure and overall emotion.
Chadwick was quite an original composer. The influences we point out might have very well something to do with the person he dedicated this work to. In Memory of Frank Fay Marshall.
Gosh, this nicely moody. Thanks for sharing.
Incredible music! Fantastic!

I loved this piece, a very good find to me.
An American Glazunov! Wonderful!
Algo me faz desconfiar que ele gostava muito de Wagner.
Tristan. The dedication might something have to do with it.
@@bartjebartmans Oh yes, it is quite "Tristanissimo" at 13:20.
Also the very beginning. Almost a quote.
@@bartjebartmans Yes! At 13:20, it is actually but a reexposition of the initial theme.

Wyatt Fox -- Agreed! Delicious echoes around 7:00 and 12:00....Wondrous music!
@@steveegallo3384 So true! Such a great piece.

Great! Thank you for your job. A question: have you got some score of Ennio Morricone or John Williams soundtracks? Bye. Regards.
No, but that would be nice for sure.
Rather ho-hum music, especially Macoroni.
