    Literarisch elegische Interpretatation dieser spätromantischen und fein komponierten Ouvertüre mit gut phrasierten Tönen aller Instrumente. Der erfahrene Dirigent leitet das perfekt trainierte Orchester im gut betrachteten Tempo und mit dramatischer Dynamik. Wahrlich hörenswert!

    Is it just me or does this sound very similar to the first movement of tchai 6th symphony. I mean i love that piece, and i love this one, but it just sounds soo similar both in its structure and overall emotion.

      Chadwick was quite an original composer. The influences we point out might have very well something to do with the person he dedicated this work to. In Memory of Frank Fay Marshall.
