      @@Jjjjjjjm If that were true, then why are the stories not widely publicized regarding the Queen of "nasty", Maria Callas???? Notorious for her conflicts and diva tantrums with conductors, musicians and fellow performers as well as her highly unprofessional practice of showing up to rehearsals and performances quite obviously inebriated! At one point, Toscanini refused to work with her. Yet, you NEVER hear any mention of her being the epitome of "difficult"!

    • @Jjjjjjjm
      @Jjjjjjjm 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@ChagoWilson I totally agree about Callas but that was a different time and if you watch any interview, you can see she is fake.Having experienced Battle's behaviour in a production of Don Pasquale ,any person speaking to colleagues the way she did,would have been sacked and if it were not for Paolo Montarsolo intervention,she may have been. An other point is,I say how it is no matter who or what and colour does not come into the equation . Having worked in the theatre for 40 years most people are fabulous to work with only a few believe they are above everyone and act so. End of.
