I bought this same combo 18mths ago for when my Canon dslr is too much and love it.. I have it in my hand literally every day of the week often shooting my commute to work, luch break and commute home. I've become obsessed. 😳
Hi Lazhar. Firstly, good choice of music for your video, It is an overlooked piece by, Beethoven, and it was just the right tempo. I got this camera recently and I really enjoy shooting with it. I found it interesting that you didn't go up to the older couple after you saw them again and ask if you could take a portrait of them. I am new to your channel and that might not be your way of shooting, but, those conversations with people can be fun. I look forward to taking a stroll around your channel over the coming days. Enjoy the rest of your day and regards from London
Hello Colin, thank you for your comment. Happy that you enjoy shooting with this tiny yet powerful camera. It's true, I don't typically interact with the subjects but might challenge myself to get out of the comfort zone. Thanks for watching 🙂🙏🏼
@@lazharcaptures Hi Lazhar. I recently started going to the tourist places that us Londoners take for granted and just talking to people about what they think of London etcetera, also talking to older people as they are an invisible part of society can be interesting. An insightful and amusing to do, yes a bit awkward at times, but that chats are worth it.
Thank you, Paul. Yes, GX80 keeps on surprising me on how good it is and an EDC. I'm gonna test another camera this week, the Nikon Z30 as an EDC. It was marketed as a content creator camera, we'll see how it fits into street photography ☺️
Thank you Lazhar for an interesting walk around Paris. Many of your shots will be a valuable inspiration to me. I do have a technical question though, if you'll allow me. As we know, the GX80 does not have a stand by mode. Do you use the DISP button to turn off the screen while photowalking, or does the screen stay on all the time? But then, after all, the autofocus is working all the time. How do you deal with that? And one more question: which autofocus mode is best for you? Thank you and best regards.
Hello friend. Thanks for commenting. Yes, I leave the screen on all the time and I have spare batteries with me in case. For the autofocus, I find that the center single autofocus works best for me but I shoot very fast after it locks the subject. I don't wait. Hope this helps. More content to come 😉
Dudee nice photos/video, more of this pov style video's can watch hours of this style of video's, new sub btw and i go watch all your oder video's, Btw greets from the netherlands 😁👌
Nice video! It doesn't always have to be new and shiny! First use what you have and then when you really need something, buy used, it helps the environment and what may be an old hat now was cutting-edge only a few years ago. :)
Absolutely 👍🏼🙂 I think I'll try more of these "old" cameras when I have the opportunity. Let me know if you wanna see more content like this one. Thanks for the support 🙂🙏🏼
Quick question, what was the camera that was mounted on your chest/head to capture the whole video? - Is it safe to assume it was an Go Pro? Thanks in advance and hope to hear from you!
@@lazharcaptures There's a lot of his photography I don't care for and some I love. I even own a couple of prints of his. Including one of Niagara Falls that makes them look almost abstract. The kind of stuff I sometimes try and create in my own work.
Hello Christian, thanks for watching. I use the auto iso function with maximum 3200 and minimum shutter speed of 1/125th of a second. I let the camera adjust the aperture accordingly

Well done mate. That's the most important thing in order to take great shots : have a camera ready at all time 🙂

You can have many years of fun with the GX80. It's a superb EDC unit. Keep on rolling!

Hello friend, it's a DJI pocket 2. Better quality in low light and better stabilization than GoPro 🙂

Sorry. I didn't get that 😕
m43 is good enough for Ctein, a highly exacting photographer. If it's good enough for him, it's good enough for most people.
Didn't know about him. Just checked it out. Thanks for sharing 👍🏼😊
