Bobby Elliot on drums and Tony Hicks on lead guitar are the two remaining members from the classis 60's line-up.

Not bad, Wonder if any of Originals are with this Band! Nice Harmony

Bobby Elliot on drums and Tony Hicks on lead guitar are "originals" if that's how you think of them, but like almost any group, line ups and members change over the years. You could argue the Beatles are not the "originals", as Ringo Starr joined after Pete Best left. Graham Nash formed the band along with Allan Clarke, but people forget Graham Nash left the band after only 6 years. The current lead singer Peter Howarth has been with the band 20 years as has Steve Laurie and Ian Parker on keyboards. I think you have to accept that we would all love for things to remain unchanged for ever, but it doesn't happen like that in the real world. Allan Clarke retired in 1999 after he admitted he could no longer hit all the high notes, plus his wife had been very ill and he naturally wanted to spend time with her. He is now 81 years of age. The current line up still put on a fabulous live show and keep the music of the Hollies alive. I''ve been following them since 1963 so have seen all the line ups and 3 different lead singers. Obviously Allan Clarke had a unique voice, and we would all love to see him front the band, but its not going to happen, so I'll just enjoy what we have here and enjoy the Hollies music.

Unfortunately the head of the guy in front of you was completely blocking your view of one of only two original members on stage!

+greggrindinger6233 Excellent musical powerhouse, as usual. shame, the current lead singer is a bit weak for their standards (plus asks to the audience to sing for so long, instead of just doing himself) just my very Personal POV
