Do not! Come here I am here right now staying at Arkbar, I absolutely hate chawing right now. The whole Main Street from morning to last thing at night is full of people spraying water. One day would not be bad, even a couple of hrs but all day every day is absolutely crap
it’s Songkrat. Thailands new year, this will go for 5 days! It’s a shame you came at the wrong time for your holiday. Other areas such as Choeng Mon and Bangrak are more quite and dryer!

Hey Papa, do you think it’s worth booking at Chaweng Buri? Are they doing construction work during the day? I’m planning to come in December. They said their restaurant isn’t open, but I bet there are a lot of other options nearby right?
They do have a great hotel Rates but I can’t tell you if December how much construction will be happening . Watch my beach walks during the next few months while I pass by it . I will also chat about it while I walk to see how the progress is

Also, Papa, do you see any similar properties to this one, still representing great value on Chaweng? We’ve watched prices go up over the last 23 years, and still want to hold on to the Chaweng bungalows of back then! We also stayed at Tango resort a number of times but unfortunately that seems closed now

I was in chaweng last September…no movement around Chaweng Buri unfortunately 😢
