I find BD4 plays better with V12 3.5+ than with 3.5. The bad thing with all BDs is they're not as projecting and immediate as other Vandoren pieces. Let's see how HD matterial will affect them..
I like BD4 more than BD5, it actually uses the air you give it lol However, I still think it doesn't have the most clean sound out of the box, but with a lot of embouchre stuff, i know some guys who sound AWESOME on it!
