Boma strikes again with his killer versatility. Including two sizes always feels like a big bonus. Tigers and giraffes and such are always tricky to do marker details on. Those printed balloons I am not a fan of, so I prefer the art, but it is so time consuming. I do absolutely love the lion and pug the best, but this is obviously also a winner. It's interesting, because my penguin uses this exact body on the larger tiger, only with smaller cylinder twist, with three in the back and two 350 in front. I am bummed because I thought I had designed a new body type and you already had it lol.
That's so weird that your Penguin uses this same body. Maybe I got it from you… You posted a preview video a couple of weeks ago and maybe it seeped into my brain subconsciously.
I guess it is technically possible, but I don't believe that it is the case, or I would say so directly. We are alike in the way we care about the integrity of giving credit to whom originates a technique or a design, and I know if we ever consciously borrow from eachother we will credit the other. I like to use the same techniques for different designs as well. My giraffe head and my princess wand are the exact same configuration.
Thank you Mr Boma. Your balloon creations inspire us and makes us all better balloon twisters. We greatly appreciate your time and effort. Great tigers. God bless.
The Princess body design is so versatile, you were able to make the pug, tiger and lion. I noticed that princess body design in an older DVD I purchased many years ago by Sandi Masori and Marie Dadow.
It's amazing how I can see one thing and someone else can see something different in the exact same pattern. That's one of the cool things about balloon animals! Nice to be able to give credit to someone for the princess body I adapter this from. Thanks for watching!
if you make this design in black and keep the eyes yellow (or whatever color you decide for the eyes) you can make a panther. I tried it by just experimenting and it turned out really cool!
Haha, I edit the hell out of tutorials lately. I just imagine people skipping through my vids to get to certain parts so I am attempting to combat that. For a pair of designs of this quality, I think folks will be cool with the length.
Balloon Sage Matt Falloon has a new tutorial format he is calling "Keep Up!" that is fantastic. I might adopt it for some of my future tutorials (though I'll change the name).
Balloon Sage I watch from beginning to end the first time, then go back and rewatch any part I think I need to review. Also, I often use the speed setting to watch in fast forward.
I just watched Falloon's tutorial, and, I am obviously in the minority here... But I thought it was utter sh*t. That is the worst style of tutorial I have ever seen. It was so annoying an jarring and terrible, my god! Why am I the only one who thinks this? You obviously loved it and so did everyone else. I still thumbed up his video ( look at those views he got!!!) but this, for me, was unwatchable. I will take your laid back style over that any day.
Balloon Sage - I think it has it's merits. To me, it's like showing the steps from a PDF in a video. I do think some of his jump cuts were disorienting and his backdrop might cause seizures. But the concept isn't bad. It's a quick summary, not a full tutorial, made only for experienced twisters.
If you practice it enough and do the simplest body design, you might be able to do it for line work. It all depends on how much time you spend per design for line work. I can do it in a couple of minutes. (Mr. Boma commenting from my alternate account)
Hi Mr. Boma, I really like the you teach, of recent weeks I started twisting Feb 2014, which I truly love. I have a pain, disease (6 yrs now) and this is the ONLY thing I can do without causing too much pain. I live in Vancouver BC, Canada and there are no, and I mean NO twisters, that I know of, anyways. So I was wondering if you have a or some DVD's for purchase? If so could you please point me in the right directions, please and thank you!!!

Thanks for sharing Mr Boma :o)
Any good tips on making it stretch out or recline? Been trying but they just don't look right! Thanks!
Wowzers! This tiger tutorial turned out WAAAAY longer than I expected. But I do show you 2 different body styles.

Awesome designs as always. . . clap clap ;)
Great design
Thanks Scott!
are you using 350s for the larger body?
Nope. All 260s in this tutorial. You could scale it up with 350s if you want to.
love the bigger tiger.
Thanks for watching!
Can this be done in line work? I'm guessing no, but, what do you think? Anyone can reply.

@@bomafett I just subbed to you. You're a fellow gamer! Me too! I stream here on RUclips and make balloons on the stream too! Good stuff!
