  • Winter snowfall in Mount Buffalo National Park, High Country Victoria - Park exploring, best walks, waterfalls, camping, Lake Catani and more...
Hey everyone welcome back for another National Park / snow trip video! In this video I'll be sharing a two day solo trip and a few of my favorite spots along the way in the snow. I was incredibly lucky with the weather on this trip (despite not camping on the mountain in sub zero) and would highly recommend you check out the Mount Buffalo snow cam before you visit yourself in winter: www.ski.com.au...
As mentioned the camera I used for this vlog was a Canon M50 with this being my very first attempt filming with it! I do hope to use the camera for photography in future and possibly other vlogs.

Thanks Laura, for this wonderful vlog. Mt Buffalo holds a special place in my heart so it was lovely to be treated to views I haven't seen for many years, and see some places I hadn't been. My 1st visit to the snow (from WA) was in 1981 to Tatra/Cresta. In 1982 we hiked across the plain to Dicksons Falls and enjoyed spectacular views. Leigh Kennedy also arranged a BBQ and X-country hike towards The Horn & it was great having lessons on the "skinny-skis"! Your filming and information were fabulous!

Oh wow great video work. From the west we stayed in the chalet in 82 on our honeymoon. Went back with our twelve year old baby girl and stayed again We had the whole theatre to ourselves then later that night a glass of whiskey on the rocks by the fire. Magnificent beautiful Victorian high country, so enjoyable.

Photos with the new camera looked great. Mount Buffalo is awesome. I’m looking forward to getting back up there sometime. The views from the peak at the horn are unbelievable. Mountains for days✨

The photos look great on your new Canon M50. I bought myself a Canon 200DII and takes amazing pics too. Nice video as always. Is there any beginner slopes at Mt Buffalo?

It looks beautiful very different, it doesn't even look like a typical Australia. I guess I'm not used to associate snow and mountains with Australia or maybe I haven't seen many Australian nature videos. I'm in Florida.

At 14:45 is Mt Feathertop. Mt Hotham is hidden behind. You can walk between them in summer along the Razorback, or a more energetic multi-day walk Harrietville, Mt Hotham, Mt Feathertop and back down.

Yes, during snow season. Sometimes you only have to have them in the car, esp towards end of season.
