i need assistance, i built one just as you showed and none of the buttons work, my rail has a red light lit up my pc reconizes the usb connection but while in game i cant get it to recognise the buttons while in the setup
thanks for your video. I downloaded the app on my pc and the sim dashboard can work for ATS on my second monitor of the same pc, but how can I get the sim dashboard downloaded/work for my ipad(iOS, appple system), thanks for your help
Yes the encoder is 5 volts but I figured it was worth a shot to see if that 5 volt rail would power the LEDs and it just so happened it did but most of the switches that I used are rated for 5 or 12 volts some of them they did not specify but they still work anyway on the encoder the red plugins are your 5 volt rail

Go in settings clock controllers at the bottom and select the USB joystick at one of the input types

Hello, how did you power the 12v LED's. The encoder is 5v, correct?

@@CodeB Thank you.
Could you also install an ignition switch that uses a ket to the box?
Yes I actually have another box that I have done that with just never made a video about it it's a 3 position switch that can work more realistically
@@CodeB right on. Thank you for getting back to me. I will have to do some research on how to wire it up.

@@CodeB Thank you very much. I didn't realize that it would take up three spots on the board.
Yea it's kinda a bummer I'm thinking about getting one of the Adrino boards to build my next board with but I'd have to learn to program it
I wanna let you know i use a 2 player board with 28 bytyons and one with single for my shifter
Dang that's cool what's the brand on the board?
@@CodeB kNin9 sorry for the confusion it doesn't let me edit my comment.
