Reaching the peak of her loneliness, she decided to end her life by jumping off the rooftop. Rosé is in a very in-denial relationship - trying her best to keep it together by keeping their common interests alive, but they never truly worked out. Her depression grew deeper and so she decided to drown herself in the bath tub. *Notice the painting on the wall - a pink skull; the guitar sign that says “I miss you, I hate you;” and the blood stain on her face. Jisoo is broken but at the same time the flower scene expressed her drive with staying positive and moving on. Blue flowers are representation of hope and the beauty of things. You can also see her holding an hour glass wherein the sand may seem to be falling off but is actually going the opposite way. This represents the desire to turn back. How she wished she ran faster to save all of her friends but it was too late - all of them are now gone. After Jisoo’s running scene, this is what we see, her favorite and most cherished memories with the girls. A trip to memory lane. *the pink car only appears during OT4 scenes. After the memory lane scene, we see Jisoo in a pool with bloodshot eyes and a sign that says “NOTHING.” She’s in denial and trying hard to move on but feels nothing without the girls. Hence, the lyrics go “I’m happy with this pain. You pity me, but I pity you more for pitying me.” She could no longer bear the agony so she drowned herself in the pool. And in the last scene, we can see how all of them reunite in the afterlife with their favorite pink vintage mustang. ❤️🩹
That's a really dark interpretation, and quite a stretch considering the lyrics which are clearly of not finding a lasting love and thinking they will never find a true love but they will keep trying to find it. Jennie's crash represents a bad relationship being a car-wreck - a common expression. Lisa's character breaks any relationship and prefers to avoid investing in a relationship. Rosé's character is a fiery bi-polar woman who fights with her boyfriend - note what's written on the back of the guitar she smashes. Jisoo rushes into relationships but when they don't work she doesn't want anyone feeling sorry for her, but rather she feels sorry for people that don't 'go for it'. However, dispite their lack of a successful relationship with a lover, they still have each other as BFF and that they can rely on to get them through the tough times. Remember, the last line "... we're still looking for love"
