@@susanhuy2819Yo le digo a usted que si. Para empezar Pavarotti era pésimo en la dicción Francesa y segundo lo cantó los primeros años, lo abandonó del repertorio pronto y en el 95 lo volvió a cantar bajada de tono y con gallos. Cuando quiera hablar de lírica con argumentos hablamos.
@@Mariano-ge6de Muchos tenores van dejando este repertorio a medida que pasa el tiempo y la voz se va oscureciendo y pueden dedicarse a un reperetorio de tenor l´irico. Eso hizo Pavarotti. Fue magnifico en Boheme o Ballo por ejemplo.

Blessed are those who heard this live at 70's and 80's, he can do this 20 times, seems so easy and so not scary to him, "only dogs can reach those c", certainly HE is the top dog!!!! penetrating voice like no other ever before...those who dislike, are too busy to listen to half of the song, never hear the real deal, or those who dislike tenors in general.

The way he sings this verse which such flawlessness is honestly amazing, I have not heard it in any other performance of a tenor. Just goes to prove why Pavarotti is the greatest ever tenor.

I prefer Juan Diego Florez for this aria. His voice is more natural for this. But Pavarotti is still amazing.

Rifugio impenetrabile e sicuro di Luciano, qui è davvero difficile pensare a una voce più luminosa, del calore del sole, che sprizza gioia di vivere ed entusiasmo. Noncurante dei salti mortali (do4) allegramente ripetuti quanti ne vuoi. Non è solo questione vocale, è proprio l'intima aderenza al personaggio che scaturisce sfrenata e ti trascina.

I've only heard this sung live by 3 tenors, one being Juan Diego Florez when he was quite early in his career. It's an amazing feat and no matter the voice, if you can do it well enough to sing it with confidence, it is quite something to behold. I can only imagine what it was like to hear Pavarotti sing it. His was so lyric and yet his voice shot out like a canon. Those C's must have been heard from space. What a voice!

Florez’s ease hitting the notes sets him apart. He sings them like they’re no sweat and he has another couple half steps in him… because he does.
But when it comes to ring and tone… nobody beats Luciano. Nobody. His voice is like the clearest bell in the world being exploded by a cannon.
@@adamseidel9780 i mean, of course he can sing higher than a c5 (every tenor can), but the thing is the tone and the quality that you put on that note, thats the hard thing, cause when you sing higher than a c5 you lose the tenor quality

I have been listening to opera for a while now. There are many arias where other tenors excel. BUT listen to this, i don't know how you could top this. Just trying to acheive those high notes once, makes my head ache. I love you Luciano.

Unico, timbro argenteo e limpido, acuti morbidi, pieni e brillanti ... insostituibile in quest'aria... Pavarotti non lancia gli acuti, li sostiene nella salita e nella nota più alta. Neppure Kraus seppure bravo è così meraviglioso
