I got it in 3: recut, bread, barge. Recut created an x-wing that I resolved with case-checking, so I knew the answer had R and E.
FYI 'Tiger' is also how we spell it in the UK. 'Tigre' is French (for 'tiger'!)
The word "tigre" for tiger kinda does exist, but it's obsolete
I liked Large better than Barge, but got it in FOUR nonetheless. OCCUR, RECON, GREAT, LARGE, BARGE.
