    I like the way you speak the truth, the young Burundian generation is less hypocritical and more open-minded than my generation for instance. Good job 🎉

    I totally agree with you....about these extended relatives . They can drain you / drive you crazy lol
    What is even more interesting is some or most of them you may never have met them before .
    But once you say noooo to their requests ( very often financial help) ....they then cut you off 🤔🤔

    • @NotSoBurundian
      @NotSoBurundian  Год назад +1

      Exactly. Like how can you be expected to be responsible of your dad's or mom's direct siblings? It's crazy! At the end of the day, all I am saying is, get to interact with them only after scouting and understanding the situation at ground.

    What you said about the 90 to 2005 kids is the reason why im somehow prouf of my generation, we look beyond the ethnic division white people instaured, and that's why im also hopefull that things will only get better with our generation.

    How can you avoid your own people you sound arrogant by saying avoid the village people you know really well that all the food comes from the villages where they don’t get support. Look I’m from Canada 🇨🇦 but born in Burundi run from the war of 2000. Your a great guy and god keep you safe and I don’t know if the Indians Indians brainwash you about your country but a person should always love the place they were born in proud to be Burundian 🇧🇮 also Congolese I love my Congolese people and Kenya Africa is one unite and the choice continent by the living god Jesus Christ ❤ you take care of yourself my bro

    • @NotSoBurundian

      How did this comment skip by me. 🤔
      You clearly misunderstood me. But let me clarify it for you still.
      I didn't say "avoid village folk", I said "avoid village folk from familly" could be either from your mother or father's side. Reason being: You do not know them and cannot assume that they welcome you with open arms just because you're blood. I went on to explain further, not quite sure how you missed it all. 🤔
      You left in 2000! Well I left in 1992 🤷🏾‍♂️
      Listen we are all shaped by our different life experiences. I more than most know to not make assumptions but to instead here a person's story first.
      Anyway. I appreciate the blessings. Same goes to you.

      "a person should always love the place they were born in proud to be Burundian 🇧🇮 " you sound really dumb, if a person was not proud to be Burundian why would he or she even go back to Burundi in the first place? "village people you know really well that all the food comes from the villages where they don’t get support" so what? I worked hard for my shit, these people don't even care about you. They only talk to you when you give them money and when you don't, you never hear from them again. And if you ask for favors they want payment as if you are not the one paying their bills. YOUR comment shows that you did not even watch the whole video.
